Waste of time?

Okay, I'm between a rock and a hard place. I have a force blader with a 40/7 helm, and two 40dmg weps. The problem is that i suddenly got bored of him :dash1:. It seems like Warrior would be nice to have for an 80/14 wep and 40/7 helm, but the problem is they need 2 slots right? Is it worth my time or money to even try? For some reason I just love the power and defense of a Warrior. If you've gotten 2slotted gs/dai/helm maxcraft can you post how long it took you? Thx.

It shouldn't take that much time to get to the lvl to farm them. You will more likely waste more time in this thread :p

oh sorry, forgot to mention im 59lv on my WA right now so i can go run it right now ;) do you have any of those items i mentioned?

oh, ok. I hope I could get the gs/dai, and then get the luck for rate :P. Should i get a bb+ for the drop rate bonus? I'd have a 50% total from prem and a bb+.

I was lucky then I got that daikatana during my 3rd run but then I had to spend 60 weods to drop a 36 Dmg helm where I spent 800kk to get rate :s
Anw it's worth to spend so much time and alz since these parts own.

how'd you spend 800kk on getting rate? Didn't you just use 2 fch and a gs/dai as a catalyst?

and yea these parts do own especially when teamed with WA because they only need to +7 one wep, not to mention their base att and def xD

p.s im going to go for it, sad that i spent like 100kk on my fb extending but hey life goes on ;)

edit: btw if i don't get 7/10 rate in the gs/dai/helmshould i just go with dmg or keep farming till i get it perfect?

he tried in the third slot = making +7 unextend -> extend try rate untill he had rate

oh, i see. surprising it could take that much but in the end this weapon is worth a lot (to yourself since its char.bind)

If it works I make CD in 2nd slot
make it +6 (or +7?)
use SEL

1. Yes try rate, you never know you could get rate ;) The best way to do this is use 2 force core(high)'s, and a slotted gs or daikatana for the catalyst. This is to ensure if you don't get the rate in your weapon, you have a chance of getting dmg. (Then try again in 2nd slot).

2. ^ Don't npc.. if you don't get rate or dmg you can always still get a total of 80dmg, (for 2 slotted gs/dai's ONLY)

3. +7 if you can, but only after you have what you want.

4. Titanium requires SEM, it is always a success but upgrading in the extended slot is not a 100% chance of upgrading.

Being a warrior with around 1000 attack, having 80/14 titanium gs and a 40/7 helm is more than enough for you to duo pretty much everything (maybe not ft2) and be effective in every dungeon (ft2 included). With those items, bloody, panic, fury you should do more than 7k hits per slash on most of the bosses. Soloing rota shouldn't be a problem, I think even quadra and berderk.

Yes, you will be able to do 90% of things with that build. But of course, if you don't crit, damage obviously sucks donkey balls.

When you will be bored with those items, after that it's only 40%+ mithril weapon and switch to 24/15 helm (unless you miraculously get a both cd/cr mithril gs).

Ye, try rate in first and second slot (with catalyst), in worst case scenario you will end up with a 40%cd in both slots, which still leaves you with that option of extending your weapon and trying to put rate in third slot. Then of course if you fail it, unextend it - basically do like Makyura.
But before that, I would try and spent some more time to get at least 2/3 such weapons / helmets before going for the last option of extending -> trying -> unextending.

what do i need to do to unextend? btw wouldn't worse case scenario be getting like 15% alz drop in 1 slot and another random enchantment that isn't cr or cd in the other slot?
