Hello,

I have a problem with Gameguard files,every 20 mins or something i get stucked,then disconnected and i get a message saying that i have to inquire the .erl* files of gameguard
i dont know what to do if anyone can help i would be gratefull

1) Is this the first time you are playing Cabal (since your account is newly created...)?

2) Try deleting the Gameguard folder in your Cabal installation folder, start the game (gameguard will redownload the necessary files) and see if you still get the same problem.

If you still get the .erl errors. Please look at the lower right corner of icons whether you see the gameguard icon after logging in and check when you get the .erl error whether it's still there (hover your mouse over the icon, to check whether it's not an after-image).

I already tried what you said but still the problem exists,the icon automaticaly closes after the message here see a screenshot

Which antivirus program are you using? It looks like it is intercepting with gameguard.

Please post your Windows version 32/64-bit and PC specs. while you are at it ~~.

i am using windows 7 64bit and antivirus avast but i tried to deactivate avast and still the problem remains. :/

Just a little side-note.
I had many problems with Avast and after I decided to uninstall it, my problems were gone. If possible, uninstall it and try again. (If it doesn't help, you can install it back again)

Get rid of Avast and use Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE)! I also have W7 64 bit and since I installed MSE I have no problems.

Have you disabled UAC ?

Did you install Cabal as admin ?

If not, un-install Cabal, delete all folders, clean registry for everything related to Cabal (Cabal, gameguard, INCA) and reboot

Install Cabal as admin

Reboot

Start cabal and let it update

i installed MSE i disabled UAC and instal cabal as admin still same if anyone can help via teamviewer pls let me a way to contact him
