judging from your other post, im guessing you are 161
asuming you have a +6 katana/orb with amp, eos7 and 36% helm (how else this dmg?)

here i saw mfs can wear mithril/use blade np;
with that same lvl and equip(but 345str and using blade) my dmg would be
non crit: 341
crit: 748

only small difference and at 154 i have 900+ def and still wearing osm gloves :) (could wear mith gloves +5 with 1 more str = +50 def)

well about my orb, all depend on boss def, if am using bm2+aura+mortal, if boss is debuff etc.... if you judge my dmg in pvp its not a good idea cause maybe i do same dmg a little lower but 1000+ def here. After i was thinking about switch with an orb mithrill +6 7%m.amp but when i saw the price atm i can't. 6month ago mith orb slot amp was 150kk now its 600kk+, even +0 (kind regards)

hi guys

im currently starting to get my equips, so far here's what i've got

+6 ST Armor Boots, 7% MSA
+6 ST Armor Gloves 7% MSA
+6 OSM Armor Helm of DB, 30% Crit Damage
+4 Mithril Katana 7% MSA
2 pcs BOS +3
1 AOP+4
2 ROL +1

im currently using 1slot topaz orb (10% CD, +4). im looking for a mithril orb 7% MSA to increase my magic. and base on your equips, it seems mithril orb MSA is a favorite choice. but so far i can not afford it.

if i would go for a pherystin orb of DB 36% CD (or at least 30%CD), would it be better than mithril orb MSA considering that we got a high Crit Rate, we could crit more often than the other characters.

in short, would it be better to just use Deathblow weapon/ orb (Crit Damage) or stick with MSA weapon/orb?

In my opinion there are allot shielders who choose to go mfs far to soon.(low level, no alz etc)
All know that most equip for mfs are kinda cheap, but there are parts like the weapon and shield that will be expensive and just need attention(+6/+7)

But at least u will need 2x ROL +2 crit rate minimum.
as your weapon choice:

Go full crit dmg when u wanna be pvp based mfs (to get max dmg from your crits, and ofc hope that u do critic xD)

Go full amp when u wanna be mostly pve based, but pvp isnt so bad when u have high magic:) (mitril orb+katana +6+mamp would give u around 850~870 magic when full int at lv 150+)

Just my opinion hope that nobody will feel offended

Mith weap/ orb amped deal more damage even in crit ( I thought that a Osmi blade +16 magic +20 crit instead of Mith katana 7 Magic amp will be more efficient in PVP , but in both case, Mith katana deals more damage in PVP and PVE due to the +magic from mithril ) u can see the difference with Jaid's PVP sheet

Just go full amp, in PVP and PVE

I'll give you a funny example with crit dmg and magic+amp

I once pvped another mfs with quite similar lvl and equip except he had a loooot more crit dmg (36 helm, 36 st katana/aqua orb, both+7)

I have a +6 mithril blade with m.amp and a +4 mithril orb with 10% crit and 30 dmg helm
I won almost every time :)

However!
As he had higher crit dmg and higher rate he did more dmg in pve (a lot faster in SoD for example)
His dmg on brannies with aura+bm2+mortal was 9k+
I did ~7200

I would say that in pve crit dmg = ownage (with high rate)
and in pvp high magic+amp owns more

Reason that amp rocks though, is simple.. amp never fails :)
no matter how much crit dmg% you have, no crit means its useless ;)

ps; stay away from tita/phery! waaaay too low magic

so from what you guys posted..

osm katana of DB / Mithril ORB MSA would be the best combination of weapon/orb? right?

so if i wont be able to find an OSM katana of DB for the meantime, Mithril katana would suffice as a replacement right?

because right now im confused, i have this guildmate who's telling me to just get tita or shadowtita katana of DB and pherystin orb of DB rather than getting mithril MSA katana/orb. he's telling me that the MAGIC that i would lose by not wearing mithril katana/orb and the AMP on that would be easily replaced by having at least 30% CDI on weapon and another 30% CDI on the orb, even if tita/pherry would give me lower magic. (oh btw, is 16% CDI the perfect craft for weapon/orb?)

i would love to test it first hand, but lack of budget it preventing me from doing so. i would love to have both sets (mithril katana/orb and tita katana/pherry orb)

if ur lvl is below 150, mithril katana and mithril orb with magic amp is for sure best choice. if we talk about replace mithril katana with osm db, its only when u have alrdy best stuff and u should be lv160+ to make nice dmg.
u should never wear pherystin orb, even if phery gives u 40%dmg ur dmg will be for sure lower then with mithril amp orb (normal dmg and crit too!!), cuz u have low magic. if u dont have enough alz for mithril orb with magic amp, u can also buy mithril orb with critdmg and replace it later with amp.
and yes 16%dmg is perfect craft for 1hand weapons (gs/dk have double amount = 32%dmg)

sick what stats are possible ... that high amount of amp, hp, magic, rate and crit dmg... isit even possible to lose a single pvp with it? I don't get it why there's a possibility to build up a tanker beeing the best dps char (not counting any bm's in) mfs, the better mage -,-

gz for that sick equip ... even tho magic amp is much cheaper ^^

well the only class i can lose against are really GOOD Blader and Force Bladers if they Crit and good Warrior are also a real pain in the *** because all classes got an finisher skill.

if you use mithril armour items - yes

if you use osmium/sg or lower with amp - definitly no.

crystal got a too high str requirement for mfs, and its increasing with each upgrade.

you waste and lose alot more than 3 magic.

I calculted abit and my magic should be arround 800 if iam lvl 140... pretty low :(

got mithril blade +4, mithril orb +4 and bos+3 both. atm iam lvling it (third char) and I'll have arround 120dex, str requirements for blade (325?) and rest into int...

will I deal good dmg with 750 - 800 magic? hm ... (talking escpeially about pvp).

guys..i've been able to get a mithril crystal magic amp..paired it with mithril katana magic amp. now im thinking should i use mithril BLADE magic amp instead of Katana since im wearing OSM Armor +6, therefore i could have lower dex, a lil bit higher str, and more INT perhaps. what do you think guys?

you want to put more in str over dex? O.o
only good reason to use blade is when you 1) are low on alz or 2) when you wish to wear mithril and will need the str anyway

in my opinion take the +7 one, i calculated myself (with jaids excel thingy:D) which orb is better and with my magic (844) the msa orb does only 15 more dmg in non crits (both orbs+6), in crits it does less dmg, so better 28 magic which is a lot for a mfs, than having 7%more amp and 10%less magic.

eg if you have 844 magic, 43 amp and 131 dmg like me (i have 10%dmg orb+6)

with the +7 orb I would have:
872 magic
131%dmg = dmg with stone cannon on a enemy with 800 def: 815 (355 non crit)
43 amp

now with the msa orb:
844 magic
121%dmg = dmg on a enemy wih 800 def (stone cannon)=776 (354 non crit)
50%amp

with +6+10%dmg orb: 777 (339 non crit)
