Aw, c'mon guys. Like you don't know the old indian community and their non-stop repeating of the same question even thou the answer has been known for ages. It's just like that. Posting once per month is fine ... when the game is in rough, unplayable development. But we're talking about a game with what ? 6 years of game play on it's belt already. Something like that. The case here is more of a translation problem rather then testing or developing. And in that case, it's pretty ... silly ... annoying ... screwed over ... and other stuff like that, to just post once every month and expect the game's already existing community to be excited about stuff. I don't see a valid reason why they don't post at least once a week and say "hey, we did about (insert random number here) % of the game's translation and we're getting closer to CBT (or whatever)".
So in the end - people are asking the same question all over again quite rightfully. In my personal experience, this is the first time I've seen a game getting prepared for beta and the staff refuses (for some unknown reason) to engage in a conversation with the community, which quite frankly, puts me off.
And while you two are busy kissing the staff's butts, I'll be jumping on board with the community and encourage them to ask the same annoying question even more. Because we haven't gotten an answer for it yet and the game was announced quite a while back. IMO, there's no shame if GM did made some mistake in their calculation and admit that their plan for going CBT in July didn't turned out to be true, but there is shame, and quite a lot of it, to keep people in the dark and ignoring them in general. In the end, that will also hurt them money-wise, coz I can't see myself and many others spending money on this game if all we're getting is silence.
So - how much time we have to wait till CBT starts ? What's the progress with the translation ? Why is it taking so long ? What's the name of the new city you showed in that screenshot ? Will we have unique cars in our own CTRacer, similarly to the Veyron in CTRacer China ? What's going to be the reward for the beta testers ? Will there be enough events to keep us coming back for more ? How you're going to protect the game from speed hacks and other foul play ?

Speedphlux, you should realize that the GMs have their limits as well. Everybody needs to understand that the GMs get their information from the owners, and the owners get their information from the developers. It's not an easy 1,2,3, here's the scoop on so-and-so. They can't answer a question if they don't have the information to answer it. And plus, they even said that it would be a surprise. A surprise does get boring after waiting for it, but in the end, it's worth it, because you're more into the surprise, rather than knowing before-hand. The GMs aren't refusing to conversate about the game, they just can't have a conversation without any information for the game. And plus, CTRacer isn't the only game on here, there's also more. And those games need to be updated as well. And plus, the Indian community needs to learn to be patient. Yes, they have the right to ask, but there's no reason why they need to be spamming the whole place with the same question over and over again. That gets irritating, and it annoys people. If you're so tempted to ask about the game, then go ask the developers about it. If you don't know who the developers are, then stay quiet, and wait. It's not going to kill any of us just to wait. It's what we need to use in real life as well. PATIENCE PEOPLE!! PATIENCE. You should also realize that this is a completely different CTRacer. Past experience might not help in this area.

BTW, why are you answering like you know something we don't ? Why you claim that the staff doesn't have any info on the game's progress and estimated time to beta ? As far as I know, it's just a simple translation process that's going on at the moment. If they don't have any info to give on that, then I'm starting to doubt they even have a CTR contract in first place.
And again, as far as I know, this isn't a different game. You can't just change something that's been around for so long, successfully on top of that. Completely different CTRacer this isn't going to be. The only difference is the host and that host so far is doing a lousy job. I'm not afraid to say it and I'll stick by it. You on the other hand can keep kissing their butts. I hope you like the taste, coz you won't be very popular within the community with that attitude.

Fine, believe what you want to believe. But the point that I want to get across is that asking the same exact question is pointless when the answer is already put out there. And I honestly don't care whether people like me or not due to my attitude. If you don't like my attitude, then don't respond to my posts. It's as easy as that. The community can go ahead and hate me if it wants to. And plus, I wasn't claiming anything about the game being beta. I was basing it off of past experience with other racing MMOs, and that other game hosting companies do the same thing. Along with the completely different CTRacer, I'm pretty sure it will be. Just like with what happened with Drift City. It became a completely different Drift City when Games Campus took over. But I somewhat understand your opinion on the GMs giving us an update, but it shouldn't be less than a month to me, seeing as that's a normal updating period for every game hosting community. I think it would be best though if we drop this, before it turns into a heated argument.

Well, it was just something that happened unexpectedly. Remember when Gran Turismo 5 was supposed to come out in 2009, but it didn't come out until November of 2010, due to Polyphony needing more time? The same is happening with CTRacer Season 2. They need more time. It is disappointing at first to see that the game didn't come out like the GMs said it would, but when something like this occurs, they need more time to develop the game properly. Otherwise, it's possible to end up being even more disappointed due to bad development, and then hate the game because of it.

GT5 is a bad example. Doesn't have anything in common with this situation. Polyphony - game developer; G-M - game publisher. Polyphony - didn't ignored completely their audience; G-M - so far has ignored their audience. GT5 had license and physics issues; CTR has been already translated once ... or twice.

I was just comparing due dates. And especially when GT5 fans got angry when the game had to be delayed several times. GT5 still has issues to this day. Still hasn't been completely done. I don't know, but it seems like Cabal (whatever this game company is) is starting to be like any other typical game hosting company, where the GMs ignore the players. But for now, I guess we have no choice, but to wait.

I don't think it would. Beta testing is mainly for finding out all the bugs in the game anyways. But it doesn't matter about the launch date. What matters is the quality of the game. Better quality makes people want to play more.
