i connect before 1year and i was lvl 80 now i cant play game
i dont have any problems with updating
but iam from africa

Our game servers got upgraded last month and our IP filter got reinforced, hence non-European countries that used to connect to Cabal Europe are now blocked.

That's why you can't connect to our servers anymore.

It completely excludes European people who eventually move around the world every now and than and suddenly got banned from old European accounts.
I am, indeed, pissed.
I am an European player, who is unable to play the game, because I have live and work to move for and suddenly Middle East has been IP banned.
It's not only unfair and making me rage, but who will ever give me my money back for the accounts? I refuse to change a game version every few months just because of silly restrictions.
I suggest lifting the IP ban on old accounts.

As you are someone who actually has to travel around the world for your work, I'd like to assume you are mature to understand the situation.

First of all, Games-Masters.com only has the license to host CABAL Online for a certain amount of European countries, which of course the Middle East doesn't belong to.

The fact that other countries that weren't included in G-M's license were able to connect to their servers, was of course unintended and interestingly enough, the IP filter is actually governed by ESTsoft the company who created CABAL Online. Why they finally updated their IP filter after so many years during the last server upgrade, is a mystery to me, but they certainly had all the rights to do it.

Complaining about an IP filter that got updated, because it that wasn't covering the IP's it should block just doesn't seem right to me...

We all knew that Cabal Online Europe was for the European market when you registered an account. The fact that people were "misusing" a hole in the IP filter to play on the European server, should have been aware that it could be "covered" one day.

Well, I'm sorry that can't play "legally" while you are staying in the Middle East, but the GM's can't do anything about things like this as they are license bound.

This is Cabal Online Europe's forum, that's not for Technical issues of Cabal Online Philippines.

Either way, just reinstall your Cabal client or get friend to give you a copy of the file.
