Problem with Game guard

Hi

When I start Cabal comes this message:

An Error has been detected by the hacking protection system.
An Error has occured while start Game Guard. Please reboot your computer or start the Game again.If this problem continues to occur, please make an inquiry with the *.erl file inside Game Guard folder within the Cabal Online folder to the 1 on 1 inquriy center on the officaial website.

I rebooted my computer and i started Cabal again but it doesnt help.

After this message Cabal closed.

2) GameGuard Won’t Start ( Or you receive the ERL error upon launch )
GameGuard has 4 and ONLY 4 reasons why it won’t start :
a) The FIREWALL blocks GameGuard from launching properly
Solution : Add the GameGuard .ERL and .DES files to the exception list of the firewall you are using. Disabling the firewall is not enough as most of them have backups in case kids disable them by mistake. This means that a monitoring exe will still remain open and block GameGuard.

b) The ROUTER is not forwarding the ports needed by GameGuard to run properly.
Solution : Enter the Router Configuration Page and manually forward the ports that GameGuard and Cabal (http://forum.cabalonline.com/autolink.php?id=2&script=showpost&forumid=25) use , and make sure that the firewall inside the router allows the traffic (same as a) ). Also , disable Universal Plug And Play. This may happen in some cases (to me it happened) , and UPnP really messes the forwarding in the LAN IP’s

c) GameGuard itself is corrupt.
Solution : The same as with the updating DAT files, GameGuard might be corrupted . In this case, I will upload a fully updated working GG folder and link it here as soon as I can.

d) Software that is blocking Cabal (http://forum.cabalonline.com/autolink.php?id=2&script=showpost&forumid=25) / GG
Solution : Disable , uninstall software that is incompatible with GameGuard / Cabal (http://forum.cabalonline.com/autolink.php?id=2&script=showpost&forumid=25).
So far, AVG antivirus, Panda antivirus , Outpost Firewall , Logitech SetPoint , Kaspersky 7.0 , etc.
If Cabal (http://forum.cabalonline.com/autolink.php?id=2&script=showpost&forumid=25) shuts down on loading or GG splash screen , make sure you post the PROCESS list from the Task Manager.


LIST OF SOFTWARE THAT CONFLICTS WITH CABAL (http://forum.cabalonline.com/autolink.php?id=2&script=showpost&forumid=25) AND GAMEGUARD.

Windows Sidebars , any type of Sidebar , be it a theme or Vista (dunno about Vista)
Oracle DataBase (turn down TNSLSNR.exe and it will work)
Avast! 4.8 Antivirus
Avira Antivirus
Kaspersky Antivirus 7.1.x+ (any previous version should work)
Panda Antivirus
AVG Antivirus
Outpost Firewall
Comodo Firewall 3.0.18.xxxx and above
Logitech Setpoint
Synergy 1.2+
Steam
PunkBuster
Any program that includes the words : hack , proxy , cheat , etc.

Using your router, forward TCP ports 38111-38125 & UDP ports 6800-6899 to your computer's LAN IP.

Make port exceptions in your firewall for TCP ports 38111-38125 & UDP ports 6800-6899.

But most likely the issue is a piece of software in your PC

You obviously do not read what i post ...

There is no need to make 100 exceptions if you put Cabalmain.exe as the exception.

Add Programs into exception list not Ports.

That was a special case that Caesar posted, i already told you that connectivity is not the issue.

A SOFTWARE IN YOUR PC IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ERL ERROR.

Make a print screen of the Processes Tab in TASK MANAGER and upload it on www.imageshack.us , then post the link here.

After you pressed Print Screen , click Start , Run , write mspaint , press CTRL + V (paste) , save as , any name and select JPEG as file type.

first thing is turn off WLLoginProxy.exe as gameguard flags any problem that has proxy in the name =/....

RatzaTM did that this in the first post he copyed and pasted.

i tried turning off WLLoginProxy.exe , turning off my virusscanner and firewall, but nothing works...
and i can't play for 2 days already... :s

Hey, your a few game guard file could be missed , so you should check your game guard files with other player's...

Running 76 processes o.O you must be mad, turn off all except your A/V, explorer, svchost.
I run 18 essencial processes durring the time I play Cabal :p

if somebody gets problems like that firsly they should restore your system(i think so you know how you do), if it does not work, check your *erl files...

worked fine before the server move, so what could've changed?

its not as was explained earlier, the servers are going to take another day or two to sort out gameguard before the relaunch

I got same problem :( same screen. tried everything. i need an update of game guard but i cant download it :( tried to uninstalled the game and install it again didn't help got an old install file so i would need a update on game guard. would be glad if u succeed to put up an working game guard on the site. (does xampp, deamontools, poweriso conflict with game guard (also tried to turn them off but i need xampp to run my comp)?)

I have the same prob, although i dont evne have anny antivirus, nor vista nor annything with hack in it. I have reinstalled 3x rebooted 10x and restarted 5 x.. It still doesent work.. Annything else i can try? xx me.
