How to continue with my combo?

After I preformed a combo and my enemy dies, it will cancel the mode itself out, cause the meter ain't going to be activated cause I ain't got nothing to target.
So my question is, how can I continue with my combo on another monster? I've red on the website that it is possible.
It's just that I don't know how.

Can someone help me explain on how I can continue with my combo's on different monsters?
And is it normal after defeating a monster that it will say that the combo mode is canceled? Or is there a better way to end the combo mode so that I don't lose SP?

edit: I have 4 attacking skills and the cooldown is set right, so I can continue aslong as I have my MP pots. I'm a wizard ;)

Just switch targets and don't miss hitting the skill at the right time. Takes a bit of practice, but you'll get the hang of it.
Other than that it's not possible to continue as far as i know.

As you are casting your last skill that will kill the mob click on another mob. Takes some practice when starting out.

I always press my scroll wheel to target the mob that's closest. This way i can continue my combo
