Epaulette of Sage
Magic+ = always usefull
hitrate+ = rather useless allready have more then enough
magic amp+ = (only for +5 cloacks or better) good to have + dmg
or
Epaulette of Guard
defence+ = less damage = more survibality
defence rate+ = see above but allready have a lot due to repulsive armor though more is better?
Flee rate + = what does this do ?

considering I am doing more then enough dmg at the moment I am tempted to go for Epaulette of Guard.
Any of you got advice about this cause i am still very much in doubt.

Using EOS+5 lvl 77 FA

Hit fast and hard .


Had EoG but ... trade it for EOS.


Worked for me .....

Sage if you need damage and have enough def.
Guard if you need defense.

It's quite easy, but you'll need 2 to be sure.

It depends on what you like doing, I find that I can do more then enough dmg in pve and so I use EoG for the extra survivability in dungeons especially as you will find out that its alot more important to have def/def rate there then some dmg.

However in PvP i believe the EoS may be the better choice to kill your opponents faster especially as def rate and flee is wasted stats in pvp I do believe.

i think it works like

a mob hits you, if you have 1% flee rate you have 1% to evade that attack.

And well for the question, at low lvls i would rather use guard, but in my case i always have both Guard and Sage in my inventory. (I'm a wiz but it goes the same for all classes, always having dmg and defense epaulette on inv because you never know when you will need more defense/dmg)
