i have noticed that FA is one of the worst classes to choose, as much as i love playing as my archer it does get fairly annoying when someone thats like 5 lvls below you comes up and kills you in one hit or something, i think FA should be like 3x faster than what they are now and should have a much higher dodge rate or whatever its called to make up for the fact they have rubbish deffense and fairly crap attack, anyone else feel the same way by any chance? :hmmmm2: oh yeah and being a FA and all usually means being able to hit from distances, i am lucky to fire like 5 meters half the time, the warriors can hit from further away >:|

ok say maybe archers arent so bad, but nothing about them is really great, the best thing about them is they fire fairly fast which means faster skill exp i guess and sometimes they are usful for pvp but its only if you can stop the other player from getting close. i think archers should have their basic stats boosted a bit or something, the deffense is ok cuz thats fair but i still think they should have better dodging ability cuz lets face it, they are light armour and carry a bow made out of nothing so they should be able to move pretty fast!

secondly FA is considered way over powered already by most ppl. FA are very powerful from buffs, attack speed and dmg

the FA is mid range in everything like the FB mainly use battle armour which gives average def and def rate.
e.g warrior 900 def 1000 def rate
FA 750 def 2000 def rate
BL 600 def 3000 def rate

FA is the middle man got good enough def and def rate.

FA also have heal which is probably the most useful skill fa get. they have lowest cast times too.

however u are correct but this applies to every1 that skill ranks means everything double transcender is a must have

well yeah i have beaten a lvl 110 warrior before : | i think i was lucky though buit then i have been beaten by a lvl 90 before, only because they are 1 skill rank ahead. the information on archers < < < < even says they are meant to have high attack, speed, and range yet i have been hit by a warrior from further away than my shot reached, and it wasnt a bot or hack or anything, maybe its just down to the game itself. i dont know : \ but its to hard to grind now anyway lol im lvl 103 btw : \

No one forces you to level first.
Even if you can only play twice a week, you could still focus on skilling.
The invested time is worth it in the end.
And it's always fun to kick people +10 levels above you, because they "neglected" skilling.

103 FA completer/regular here.When i see im doing 50 dmg to a target i just leave lol.I do things my way.I dont rush with skill lvling.Pvp wont run away from me lol (then again it might happen oO).Basicly with Greater heal ppl that are stronger than me cant kill me.(but i cant kill em either Oo)

as tanker you suck... your doing low dmg and if you use stunn combo the dmg is much lower again.
My gear is not the worst i beat the most shielders on mars...
But other classes with equal gear are more powerfull and usefull...
Well there some shielders everyone sure wants in b2f partys...
Well they have uber gear...

i dont get it im a fs and i think my char rocks in quests when the guys the same level as me are taking loads of dmg fighting enemies one on one and theres me taking on the rest and taking low dmg i think thats useful
and with my cannons boj and my crit rate i do some good damage yeah maybe in pvp i suck but i can hold my own with most ppl at my level and thts using my adept gear when i stop using it and use my amp and such im gonna own

Force Archers with duel trans - very good gear - and played right are awesome.

I can name on merc server one Fa which is imo the best Fa i seen yet - Solo fights up to 3-4 ppl same lvl or higher and still can kill most of them.

The Fa called Farleen.

Its not just about all out dmg - evading and dodging plays a huge key to Fa play imo - not just spam heal heal heal all the time.

They have better gear, better skills, more Alz.
And they can practice combo'ing more, thus they will be able to have +15 combo's every time.


But a FA is far from weak if played right just as Armitage said. Certain classes are much easier to play with in PvP.

and i got to say if you know how to use your char.. then you will be really strong
In DUELS you will only be beaten by wizzards or archers... stand and just use combo is such a ****** way to use a fa.. but fade step and dash could do a great tactic... just try it out. You do low dmg and have low def/hp/def rate everything you really have is your range then find the way to use it best you can...
Out of duels just keep heal ready and no one would be abble to kill you... but you wont be abble to kill most off ppl either :P

About time.. well every single MMORPG is about time if you cant play as much as you would like to then just be patient... or find other kind of games

People who play less already get an XP boost. (doesn't count for skill exp though).
Did you ever noticed the rest state thing on your exp bar?
You get doubled XP for the duration of the bar. And it fills itself whenever you're off line.

i always thought that was something to do with death panltys, either way it surely doesnt double it, i only get an exp boost for like my first 20 kills every 3 days i log in, then it goes back to normal, its so pathetic. even still lvl isnt as important as skill level, 1 skill level means more than 10 normal levels does

Thats my opinion. I'm a FA 111, dual trans and I dont need that crap to win. If I loose, then I loose. U dont loose money, honor points or anything else so I dont get the point on using cheap tactics to win. The idea of a duel is to prove u are better than someone else based on your combo, your char level, rank and items. U will beat ppl and u will be beaten, thats life.

As for FA being weak. LOL. U expect to be strong without investing time in your char? AFAIK, there's no char that is strong without investing time on it. Not even a Wizard. U still need to exp skill to get higher ranks. I've beaten a lot of opponents so far without any problem. I've lost sometimes to higher level or better geared chars. CvC, i can stay alive VERY VERY easy cause of the heal + pot. FA has great damage, buffs and heals. In CvC, enemies will try to kill always the FA first cause its really important to a party.

Pick a different class and see for yourself. FA is much better than most classes already. U think its hard with FA, try others and u will see. U will ALWAYS be in disadvantage to ppl that play more hours. Not a class problem.

I really think FA needs to have little better stats.. is great for long range PvP.. and i have beatwen a few wizards around my lvl... but most time. BL,FA,FB,WA. can kill me alot quicker than i kill them.. is just plain BS lol.

Fade isn't lame, it requires some skill to use.
I tried it with my wiz to fade > blink and it's harder as it seemed first.
And combo always takes some time to charge, so you'll have to be good in order that he won't reclick you before your first skill (preferably with stun) is launched or the time is wasted.

I'm 35, fulltime job, married and with 1 kid. LOL dude. Your comments just made my day. FA doesnt suck. U in the other hand have no clue how to play FA and even want ppl that DONT play, have a bigger exp boost for not playing?? In most games there's not even such thing. Be glad there's one here.

And to the guy above: ppl here have played ALOT more than you (you said that) and we know what game this is.It seems by your posts you wont be happy with this game because the mechanics are in complete opposite of your tastes.I would suggest you to try Guild Wars or Counter-Strike.

As for FAs sucking-no they do not.I have a lvl 104 myself and im completely happy with it.

Its very easy to block ppl that you fine rude in game and i find that having tons of ppl (bad and good) is much better than having alot less ppl but all good.Hey if someone annoys you then kill him.

Fade step gives BOTH of you time to use pots.The FA needs to have ALOT more magic compared to your defence for him to win.
