At level +50 you can visit Port Lux instructor and learn the upgrade skill: Magic to Sword, all the skill exp you gain using magic skills is directly transfered to sword skill. That's the better way.

This means all the magic points I learn from this point will now be transfered to sword skill?
Or all points I have gained in magic in the past are transfered to sword skill?

All the points you learn from this point are transfered to sword.

You can unlearn the skill Magic to Sword when you don't want to gain sword exp anymore.

does this mean that i must level up all the skill in magic a twice time?. is that not a little bit hard?^^. I mean it was hard work to gain all the point in magic.

you can always get some mobs and punch them to get points physical and magic at the same time, as long the monster gives you xp (1exp at least) you get points

You can either do it with the change force upgrade skill, or do it the normal way.

Equip 1 katana or blade instead of one of your orbs, and use the noob sword skills, like flash draw, impact stab, rising shot... I would prefer change force, because with magic skills you can do more damage and famr higher lvl mobs without dying... you get the benefit of better items and skill exp at the same time.

how many skill exp point you will get for each (sword and magic) if you punch mobs? And do adept equipments still give extra skill exp by punching mobs?

Another question, is it true that we would get faster magic skill exp by getting 'change force sword to magic'?

I consider "punching" to be a very slow way to get skill exp, because as far as I know, adept doesn't apply to that.

Adept is " + skill exp per skill", which means that it only gives benefit when you use skills; doesn't work with normal attack. Besides, using combo makes it even faster.

Skill exp is gained per skill, so if your skills are fast, skill exp is also fast. Fast meaning a 1.3 cast time for example, which will get you to use as many skills as possible in the smallest time frame.

The change force upgrade works simple, it transfers the sword to magic or magic to sword exp; if your magic skills are faster than the sword skills, then it is better to use magic -> sword and lvl sword that way.

ah thanks blackened... that's what i understand too xP... but somehow im wondering why there are still some ppl punching mobs xD. So I wonder if there are other advantages.
Also someone suggested me to use sword -> magic change force if i wanna lvl up my magic skill lvl faster. (im a wiz btw). I wonder how that would work for a wizard who always use magic skills anyway? >_< ... well i use fade step and dash but nto as often as i use my magic skills. I even asked if sword -> magic change force would give double skill exp to magic since I didnt see how it would make my magic skill lvl faster =x

i experienced punching to be teh fastes but lamest and sometimes rather difficult way to train your skills
why do wizards need sword skills?
because of the bonus stat points !!!
