as the title says..
i have a lot of def but i can't solo good spot, mobs do me huge dmg, and i dont feel a great difference betweeen 900 and 967 def. Why? :wild:

just switch your earring of guard for 2 vamp earring +4 and switch one of your bof for an extortion+4 and use lots of big AOE skill like cascade, rolling, siesmic, whirlwind in combo.
and things will be lot's better
Yea.defense is not all in this game. Thats why i will always say mithril is crap (until u got sw. amp :D), because only 1 slot and osm 2 slot craft iis much better with lower def. I am going to full osm craft set back and never want to buy mithril not for pve and lol @ mithril in pvp

I solo big spot at ~600 defense, but I'm FA though.
With my WA it was a bit harder, but no doubt doable. 80 steal and 750 def I think.

use DMG and VAMP set together, its better than def.

i really wanna know how u solo big spot without vamp things as a WA and at what level you did that !!!

dude use vamp ! you recover hp and your problem is not low def
you problems its low ATTAK!
you die because you dont kill the dam mobs fast enough >>
i got 828 def points and i can solo the spots you cant >>
try to create a set that has vamp amp and def and your weapon the max crit dmg you can find >> !
that way you def keeps you alive long enough for your vamp to work and your dmg will kill the mobs faster so they don't seriously dmg you .
it works 4 me....

this works for all, but if ALWAYS player have same build and same equip is so boing :P
i thought that with about 1000 def i had no prob..
but this ****** game want only crit set :P

i really wanna know how u solo big spot without vamp things as a WA and at what level you did that !!!
Well as i remember i got 848 def at lv 147 with some OSM / SG staff full +6 and i can solo bigspot in MF how much time i want without die.
And i solo it without any vampire!!! I never wear vampire: no rings, no amulets, no earrings, nothing not before not after...never wear it. I just use PVE combo on 4 mobs and thats it.
Maybe i will start to wear vampire now... like earring or something but i never like it before.

I have 1012 def 15x lvl and without vamp on big spot i can die somtime, so that wha u say is unbeliveble, but with vamp even on 125 lvl i'm never die here ...
Yes it sucks wery much if you wear only Mithril and hawe no offensive gear and other way oround.

1012 def with mithril ? I always say mithril is a craps items for me. I never want to wear it unless i got a sw.amp in slot drop, but this wont happened so...
OSM set full craftet its much better for me... point: with more dmg mobs die faster and cant hit u a lot (and this i got with osm craft).

guyz, chill , big spot is soloable with almost any deff for a WA ... i have 796 deff buffed(don't ask) and i use 2 vamp+3 earrings and a shineguard glove with 5%hp steal...so it's rather easy...u just have to be a bit handy
pure pve mith build isnt so bad if u plan to be just a pure tanker and take less dmg in dungeons while tanking bosses for us ranged chars
i got one in my guild and he does very well at being my lil bish so i dont get scratches on my sexy+7 suit
just sucks when i got bm2 my cannon crits get me aggro

Yes two mithril +6 parts with s.amp. I have 39% amp 145% dmg but anyway i have chance to die on spot 2 without vamp.

just sucks when i got bm2 my cannon crits get me aggro
that's why the tanker , wich is in fact a TANK , should not miss he's BFG (BIG FREAKIN GUN)
i'm full dmg , and got good stats like 50+rate /930 atack/~120 crit dmg 32 amp , and there comes , a heartless812 (FA) wich takes aggro off me , and a twizzta(FA) and a Shatan (FS) ...
being a WA guy that has huge deff and small damage, it's in my mind just like beying a musculous guy with a tiny ***** di.ck :D
well ive been offline 5days now lets hope he got some amp finaly
still waiting for new psu

I prefear to pve with my pvp set (so max offensiv) and vampiric earring + 1ext bracelet+4. I deal much more dmg so mob dies fast, i can take and must take lots and lots of mob at same time, then i cant die (coz vamp + aoe). So damn good xp.
better than full def, where you deal less dmg, so less xp, and you cant take much mob or you die from the dmg you take (so again less xp).
Just one thing when you are in full offensiv + vamp, be carefull when you break your combo :p

i think i'll be dumping my hp steal gloves, and use 1 extortion also...i forgot that extortion bracelets have some atack also...
i mostly use 5% HP steal because i like them cuz their max craft :p
