Collection of Skin Ideas

Well i would like to create a new skin with certain usefull features but i need a theme for that any special ideas out there?

maybe i´ll just create a skin which looks cool but has no special genre but if enough users wish for a special theme like mickey mous skin (just an example :P) ill create such a skin

if i got enough time i will probably create both so post your ideas

Same as the Shinobi but more solid & Detailed and same as the TheThink skin but not so Dark.

At least thats what I would want for myself,
but I hawe no skills to design so I hawe to use existing design.

I think if every one would hawe skills then everyone would hawe its own Theme to use.

At least my skill bar is more or less original,
I plan to finish it for myself and share it but its so wery wery wery frustrating and time consuming coz once you start then you cant stop.

Emo Skin

Built-in Features:

- Auto-Suicide by slashing own wrists
- Crying when losing PvPs
- Write the day's accomplishments in a diary before shutting down the game
- Erase all buddy list, you don't have any friends
- Deleting Guild page, the idea is ridiculous

Upgrade System:

- Fail in upgrade will result to crying
- Fail from +6 > +7 will mean suicide
- Success from +6 to +7 will mean giving away the item, as it is a threat to your
emo status

Pet System:

- Pets will now carry handkerchiefs with them, for their masters
- Pets will take up the duty of being the player's only friend
- Pets will comfort player when he/she dies

Addittions:

- Instead of PKing, other players will now just tell you you' re ugly, resulting in
your returning to the nearest town and crying for about 5-6 hours before you
can go out again
- Bosses will look at you and simply laugh, therefore breaking your spirit. Results
are same with the case described above.
- SP will be filled up by the amount of tears you have cried

but im not a metalhead xD and i wanna make a skin which is used by more players then some strangers xD

argh im so lasy just got the character box designed i have no time for skinning atm so gonna take a while till its finished but it will be nice 4sure i finally decided to create a skin like shinobi but more aggresive means nice effects and other cool features and ofc many different colours

mainly i wanna make 2 main colours silver and black and on each another 5 or 6 colours like red green blue purple (4 female) silver and black

how about making a minimap for every class
like for warrior.. make a circle on the minimap to show the range of fury and morale
for wizz the same for sp
for archer for heal..

this way you know if the whole party is in range for ur buff/heal
cuz u can check if the blue dots are within the circle

That's actually impossible Samp0 =p we can't code the skin, only modify what's already there XD So there's no way that can be made =p

i don't really like theme skin (i mean related to other game or movie or stuff like that) but a skin with some effect like gloss, transparency, gradient, smooth color and some not square shape could be nice.

(it's not cabal, but it's just to show the kind of render which could be nice)


here is also few feature or advise i used/added to my skin that i like (just to share) :

- the red glow on the bottom of the skill which tell you when the skill is rdy to use or not (just need to make a red line of 2pixel height at the bottom of the cooltime square)

- the bumpy icone like the dock mac os style (just need to make little icone for the normal icon, and a bit bigger and higher position for the mouseover icon, and again bigger but same position for the mouseclick icon)

- a bit of transparency on the inventory window which allow you to see the buff under (very usefull for me when i'm in dungeon coz i change of stuff quiet often so i keep the inventory open and then i can check if my buff are still here or close to finish and if i have to cast it again)

- a kind of tatoo draw which fill for the loading bar, i really like it. (just need to make the right shape for the alpha layer of the loading bar and the loading container)

- you can change the shape of the window and the title bar of the window playing with the aplha channel

- if you make the combo bar with some transparency, make sure you do a gradient on the alpha channel to get the end of the combo bar full opacity, coz it can be a problem to actualy see the position of teh combo bar in some place (like combo in vc coz the lava color is kinda the same of the combo bar at some point)

- don't make a bakground with too much line or complicated picture for the inventory and storage, coz it can be painfull to find your item quikly (and when you change stuff all the time in dungeon on the same boss for exemple you need to equip the right one in time)

- add some different marker for the exp bar to show the 5/10/15 positions

that's all i've in mind at the moment, i'll add some more if i remind other things

right now i can't open my dds file as photoshop isnt installed yet on my computer, but it's on the dds file with the skill bar, combo bar, hp bar (texture0.dds i think), and it's on the left side of the dds, at the middle of the height.

I tried this but the little red line at the bottom vanishes before the skill is fully cooled. It seems to squash the cooldown square instead of cutting the top off.. :o
It's a good idea anyway =X
