The Technical Support area has a main section and 3 sub-sections.

The main section "Technical Support".This area is for technical support guides.

The first sub-section is titled General, you may post general issues that you need help with here which are not related to gameguard or connection problems.

The second is titled Gameguard & Connection. This area is as it's name states specially for gameguard and connection related problems. You may ask for help here if you got problems with either one.

The third section is titled Resolved. This area is for threads that have had the issues looked at and fixed - it is recommended that you browse (to view a guide on how to search the forums properly click here (http://forum.cabalonline.com/showthread.php?t=92715)) through that area to look for a fix for your problem before posting it in the Open area.

If anyone wishes to provide the section with a guide for others to use please create it in the Open area and send me a PM to get it reviewed and moved - all guides will be stickied in the Resolved section.

Update: It's also come to my attention that people have been posting in existing threads thereby distracting the attention of the support away from the original thread author leaving them out in the cold.

If you have an issue can you please, please make sure you post your own thread and do not bump other ones with questions on how to fix your own issue if the two are not related - it hinders the support more than somewhat when multiple people are asking lots of questions in any single thread.

Hopefully you've already searched for your issue in the Technical Support forums, if not you can find a small guide on how to do so effectively above in this thread and also linked here: click me (http://forum.cabalonline.com/showthread.php?t=92715)!

Suggested sections to search are Technical Support (http://forum.cabalonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=189) (General (http://forum.cabalonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25), Gameguard & Connection (http://forum.cabalonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=271) and Resolved (http://forum.cabalonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=191)) and Customer Service Announcements (http://forum.cabalonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=107).

If you don't find anything useful, or if you've found solutions but they don't work for you then I urge you to have a little browse through the current threads in the Open section to see if there's one like yours - if there is, use the advice already given (if none has been given then be patient and it will come); if there isn't then please click the New Thread (http://forum.cabalonline.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=25) button on the top of the General (http://forum.cabalonline.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25) section.

When posting a thread a standard list of questions for you to copy and fill out in your threads is as follows:


Do you live in Europe?
What operating system are you using?
Please provide as many system specifications as you can (DxDiag would be even better)
Which firewall(s) are you currently using?
Have you allowed Cabal in your firewall access list or, better yet, disabled your firewall?
Which Anti-virus software are you currently using?
Have you allowed Cabal in your anti-virus scanner access list or, better yet, disabled your Anti-virus scanner?
Did you install CABAL Online (Europe) using an account with administrator privileges?
Are you trying to run the game using an account with administrator privileges?
After you installed the client did you run the launcher and/or let the launcher update the game automatically?
Please add attachments (screenshots) from your process list, error recieved and DxDiag file if applicable.


DxDiag can be obtained through the following method:

Start -> Run... -> DxDiag -> Save all information.. -> Upload and attach a download link to your thread
