just a simple question:
how does panic cry work?
and if example, i have 44% CRI in rings, weap and helm, i will have 49% CRI, right? then how will pani cry work after that--given i have 49% CRI already?

Simple, it adds to your rate 21% and crit. damage 30%. If you have max. crit rate, for example 2%, you'l have 52%, if you have 4%, you'l have 54%, since the rate bonus is big.
panic cry debuffs a boss or a player.
it adds to your stats exact - nothing.
max crit rate alone without rate in it is total senseless.
total set 55% rate - 5 % max crit needed
total set 60% rate - 10% max crit needed
u need to fill max crit with rate if over 50%.
lets say u have 6% max crit on set.
that means u possible rate can be 56% if fully filled with rate.
max crit rate only highers the cap of 50% rate... but as above said u need fully fill it with rate to get work.
max crit alone without rate filled does exact - nothing.
max crit with 50% or less rate does exact - nothing.
max crit with rate filled over 50% rate works.

panic cry is a debuff... it works after your rate
example: u have 50% rate, moob has -21% rate from PC and -10% from HL= u have 81% c. rate
Eh enough, lest just say u will crit more often :P
Very confusing..very confusing indeed..
Hehe..
I'll just stick with Solem's idea.. Hehe
just try u can see like 80% crit (i saw it in bm2+aura+panic+hardluck)
I know, i KNOW!
I was reffering to the fact that panic cry ADDS to your crit. rate(for example 40%) 21% rate, only for the mobs you have debuffed.
If you have no max. rate, you'l have 50%(only for the mobs you have debuffed), if you have 2% max rate, then you'l have 52%, 4% max. rate, then you'l have 54% and so on(since 40+21 =61, but the rate cap remains, and so you need max. rate parts to increase your rate over 50%).
You crit. more often, and crit. more. Its common sence, i thought all WA understood this, since its a incredibly simple concept. :P
I'm confused with two answers to my question:
ANSWER A: Rate (gained because of debuff) will only apply up to 50%
ex: 49% rate will just be 50% rate after casting panic cryANSWER B: Rate (gained because of debuff) will be added to your rate
ex: 49% rate will be 70% rate after casting panic cry
the answer is one
it doesn't add to ur OWN rate ur rate remains the same, just the boss on its own has -21%rate so its LIKE for u having 50(or w/e ur rate is)+21 from the debuff=71
if u see when u get the debuff go to ur resist section(next to Basic Status)...
check ur resist to rate before debuff is 0%(assuming u have no resist from pet)
after the debuff it will write -21%, so it means that YOU have -21% + the crit rate of other players attacking u...its not calculated with ur own crit rate![]()
as i've experienced, this is not possible, since with pure bm2 panic pwning many merga's and many times with aura and panic, teh panic+bm2 crits just as often as the aura one , having the effective crit rate at around 75%. the point is, you give negative crit resist. usually when someone/thing has crit res, it'd get removed by this and you'd crit 21% more that you didnt use to.if it hadnt got crit res, it goes into negatives (tested on players), making you 21% more likelier to crit outside your 50% max area. also, according to you theory, i shouldnt crit more in pure panic, but alas, i do.
Okei, no I am confuzed, after reading all of this. I was sure 100% about this, that i taught it was common sence.
But oh well.
Btw, Kirkmaster:
I never wrote such a thing. :Paccording to you theory, i shouldnt crit more in pure panic, but alas, i do.
Your nick is confuzing, and Kirk sounds cool :P = 2
