    Default Aggro System hy

    Ok, this is the thing used in all MMO's except Cabal ofc.


    What is aggro ?

    Aggro is the mob's "concentration" on player who is dealing most aggro. In Cabal "aggro" is who deals more dmg. Now that's dumbest thing here.
    My idea is to add to skills agrro points.
    WA/FS should have most aggro to tank bosses / mobs at CA, not WI tanking all FFS !!!!!
    example :
    WA completer should have 100 aggro points
    WI comlepter should have 50 or even less.

    The higher lvl =more aggro + new buffs for WA/ FS named "aggro charge", it should be giving +50% more aggro. Now that's annoyin when I see damn bosses chasing damn WI's, Tyrant Leth chasing WI's whose nearly 1 hit-dead.
    Anader suggestion added.

    update :

    In the order of aggro :
    1. FS - that's obvious why : biggest def and tank skills (aod, ss)
    2. WA - most of HP, big defence
    3. FB (debuffs should have big aggro, they annoy boss)
    4. FA (healing should have aggro, bcuz boss hates when his enemies are healing themselves)
    5. WI sp cow and dmg dealer :P
    6. BL - because BL is assassin, so he can't make big aggro.

    Aggro points should be ballanced also :
    Every skills should have aggro points
    FS should have buff which gives 50% additional aggro (example 100 aggro points, 150 with buff)
    WA's GM should have 120 aggro
    FB debuffs should make 200 aggro (now unmovable is really usefull, so FB debuff it and he stays safe)
    FA mass heal should have 130 aggro points
    WI sp buff aggro 90
    BL well BL is lowest aggro dealer because of its characteristic class "assassin"

    Now aggro points shouldn't be like FB debuffs (200 aggro) and he gets aggro all the time, when unmovable a mob / boss should attack nearest target, also aggro should be time triggered, each aggro hit, WA does GM = 120 aggro and FB debuffs = 200 aggro, there is 200-120 = 80. Each 4 aggro points = 1 second, so 80 :4 = 20 seconds, FB got aggro for 20 seconds, then aggor is counting from start again, then WA gets aggro again by dealing GM.

    As far as I know, aggro in cabal is supposed to be on who deals most damage, but is on who cast fastest skills. Wis and FA wouldn't be so often aggroed if it were on damage. ^^

    In my opinion each FS skill (like all BL skill got CR/CDI) should have aggro bonus in them. There are already FS aggro shorttime "debuffs" ,though not many people use them. WA and other classes shouldnt have aggro bonus at all from skills ,so FS would be needed in party for mostly tanking something powerfull. Where WI/BL is typical damage dealer , WA for dmg and party buffs , FA for dmg and to keep the tanker alive, and FB for dmg and crowd control.

    WI and maybe FA/FB should have reverse of FS skills ,meaning reduced aggro in them.

    THOUGH EVERYTHING is useless in current state of game. What for pointing aggro at 1 members ,if the attack of most bosses is made as big aoe ,so even if he concetrate on one person rest will get dmg anyway.

    FS should have a buff type like raise spirit, moral shout that should give to him 5000 def and he couldn't ATK while with that buff. So he could just turn off and turn on when he wants to tank since the could down of the buff is 1 sec and is a long buff. debuffs/Buffs should be allow (to use aggro ofc).

    The buff should be the perfect to thank and wouldn't make FS OP in pvp / TG / ch War and he would be the perferct tanker.

    FS should also have ''Most Hunted'' buff (named by me ^^). Most Hunted buff should have a red bubble like blood and whould make mobs in 20 range atk the FS in the buff duration (in other words forced AGGRO) and it should be a 60 secs buff


    EDIT: To understand the use of ''Most Hunted'' buff I type it right now: AoD + MH would be very very usefull for the party because boss/mobs in dungeon will atk the FS and he would keep boss HP level while the party is out of BM and w8ting for it to be ready

    I agree with alky...but in the game i am playing when we do boss hunts or so i do get aggroed as i am mage...the damage dealer... the point is i got few buffs which can save ma ****...
    Example my Wizard is focused on ice skills... i have the option to turn on the buff which makes me in big ice block of ice which is indistructible... im unmovable and i CANT atack ...so while i am in "frozen" mode my mates Warriors, and dual wielding classes retain aggro... i blink away...get healed by a healer and go back and pwn...

    So gib moar aggro to melee classes and gib to wizordz 10 seconds god mode buff without possibillity to atack nor to move...mkay?

    I hate when I sometimes get aggro couz of debuffs. And its kinda crap when (in example) 4 dmg dealers on boss, and fa cast lower def and boss goes to fa...

    I was also considering about that FA should have aggro also during healing (yes it sounds kinda ******), but aggro means IQ of mob, atm mobs are low IQ bcuz they attack that what attack him hardest (its like big troll, you kick him in head and he is angry and he chase you xD).

    But the point is WA and FS (since Fs is "shielder", supposed to be great tanker) should have most aggro points, then FA, FB, WI, BL (BL lowest aggro bcuz considering this character style BL = stealth assassin)

    Well, the mistake is there, aggro is the boss' annoyance level. Not his concentration. The simpler the aggro system, the better. In WoW bosses may attack healers, because they get annoyed at them healing other players. Which kind of makes sense. And ofcourse they will attack wizards - if it were me, I would certainly go for the guy that spams me with annoying spells from distance, pwn him and the go and pay attention to those melee... things around me, pwn them, etc... In most games, I go for the ranged enemies first, then deal with the melee ones easily when there's no one to interrupt me.
    Disabled signatures are so damn cool!

    Exactly.
    What is the point of a Tank if they cannot hold the agro for more than 1 attack?
    If this cannot be done then at least multiple the effects of those Agro debuffs by 9001.

    sorry i dont have time like 34976324098562359365873 hours to read whole forum, so i just bump it TO DO ANY AGGRO SYSTEM. All ideas will be beter than what we got now, i mean we got nothing atm
