Sound problems
Hy all. I got a 5.1 audio system. every time i play cabal the sound is very weird. I works fine a few seconds, and after that only 2 speakers work, then again all work a bit, again back to only 2. It's pretty random so i have no idea what could the problem be.
Do you have the Ambience sound option in Cabal on 50%+? It's a known problem that the sound gets weird with that.
And are your sound card drivers up to date?

Ambience is not my problem, and driver is up to date. I got a VIA VT1708B onboard sound card and Asus M2N-CM DVI motherboard. Any other ideas?

I play with all Cabal sounds off, so I haven't noticed any problems regarding to the audio speaker system, cause I got a 5.1 speaker set as well. But I'm no holiday right now so I can't check my PC at home.

Well the problem is that you have VIA wich is sh**. But IMO you should check sound settings in VIA control panel.
You gave me a good ideea :P... I think it was because i was using speaker fill. Now it doesnt seem to have any problems (yet). Thanks for the support. And yea i know its not a very good sound card but its onboard so i dont really care. Mabye ill buy a sound card but i dont think its worth it.
