In preparation for the challenges that lie ahead the Nevareth Elders are rolling out a new scheme designed to strengthen the equipment of the bravest, and longest serving, members of the CABAL Community.

Over the course of the next few months you will be able to purchase a series of rare armours and weapons from NPC Yul in Green Despair. Each armour or weapon will come with some very special stats - designed to increase the strength of your character - but will only become permanent for those willing to prove their bravery by taking risks.

What are these risks I hear you ask? Well it is simple: those who risk the item they have purchased to successfully upgrade and strengthen it to +9 will get to keep it. While those who are too frightened of the consequences will only be able to use the item for a period of 7 days.

Part 1: Weapons (Red Osmium / Topaz)

Aim:

• Purchase a weapon from NPC Yul in Green Despair.
• Upgrade it to +9.

Event Period:

• The weapons will be on sale between the 11th May and the 25th May.
• Upgrading of the items can be done until the 1st June.

• Epic Option: Critical DMG +16% (Great Sword/Daikatana: +32%) OR Critical Rate +8% (Great Sword/Daikatana: +16%)
• 1 Slotted
• Tradable
• 7 Day duration unless upgraded to +9

it is not fair .. low lvls get titanium but perfect craft and with 2 slot and posible to put rate in first slot .. high lvls dont have that posibility ..

Another disappointment, someone bought all the second slot and took it away from EU server.
Why going for the change of wasting millions of alz on something that might fail going +9 when you still be needing SEH if it succeeds?
Not so many ppl will try +9, less reward for GM's, less happy ppl with better weapons.

This will be followed by armour events which will be SIG quality (e.g. gloves).

Considering there are that many and that bad as you say.. what gives u the idea that they waited for such event to get that kind of gear?
lvl99 deathblow weapons 1 sloted already exist in servers and there are quite a few around.. so they could might as well buy those...
If u calculate the average cost it would take u to get such a weapon from the event is more or less similar to what lvl99db weps cost till now..
The only thing that this event offers to game is more "quantity" of such items in game.. so on the contrary it would aid more users to get nice gear and not the classic case of "i cant afford it coz there is only 1 on the market, and a "supposedly" alz buyer already made rly high offer"... and at the same time, not so easy so that it would render the already existing gear in game worthless

Actually you were one of those people which were against the event and now you whine about red osm xD No one promised sigmetal weapons! Just sig metal armour.

Anyway in my eyes it's a nice event, already a few made +9 and the rest of us (poor players xD) can sell their uchs/fchs/fchhs ^^

I have question about price Core Enhancer High. In news on website = 1k cc but in Cabal Shop = 1,5k cc. Then how much then?
