The old question - lvl 9 or lvl 20?
Hi, i m right about getting Transcender rank in magic and ask myself if i should max the levels of my three main attack skills (extreme dual cannon, hailstorm, arctic field) now... i kept them on lvl 9 to do fast combos, but a damage multiplicator of 2.65 at lvl 20 extreme dual cannon with a high int build *could* work out quite good
any experiences?
GMaster at level 9 to repeat as soon as possible, and try to make a fast combo to recast the GMaster as soon as possible, if the other are lv20, it doesn't matter, the important thing is casting GMaster as soon as possible again.

if gmaster is lvl 9 and the rest lvl 20 no combo will be possible.. i guess..
Then plan it well, some let it at level 19, etc, etc. Make your special own combo.

Well, from my 1 year + experience of playing with wizard skills, I can tell you the following:
GM skill is worth at lvl 9 if you want a fast combo; then you will have a quite fast dps (damage per second), considering the fact that you can have a 4-5 skills combo, and you cast GM pretty soon.
Skills such as hailstorm or artic field are not really recommended in pvp, because they are slow; they are good in pve though, but in duels? you will get killed waaaay too soon. (If my memory serves me well, they both have 3.3 cast time). Artic field is very good in pve for the stun effect, but then I would recommend you to drop it to lvl 9.
For pvp, focus on fast skills with high amp. The latest trend would be cannons.

maxing cannons is the best thing to do?
Not really _the best_ thing to do, but you might find out later that they do the most damage per second. So I'd say it's the most recommended :P
The Maxing cannons thingy is just for pvp.. right? o.O
They have good damage in pve also...
Crowd control in PvE is needed more as a high dps in PvP.
