This guide will show you how to build your Force Shielder properly, and pretty much answer your questions.
I will keeping update this Guide sooner or later, depends on my progresses in-game. Please be patient.
Stats
As always follow your growth till Lv. 60 then you decided whether what build you want to go. Either Sword or Magic.

Builds
You may already know that there are 2 builds for the Force Shielder. Namely: Sword FS (sFS) and Magic FS (mFS).
First up -> Sword FS
This build is originally the build of FS. They have high defense and cool-looking lightning effect skills.
It is a very strong and capable in PvE (Player vs Environment), it can even solo the most dungeons without any major problems. In terms of PvP (Player bs Player), well some people says that they're weak which is not entirely true. Their attacks are as painful as Warriors or even more when it
Critical especially Shield Splinter - 100% and can stack with your
Critical Dmage including upgrades + MB, you can pretty much take half of your opponents HP. And the defense helps a lot.
Magic FS
This build was made by the European players and considered it to be a powerful Player vs Player build. They have mid- defense because they focus more in INT not in STR (which gives for defense) but they really hurt because of the crushing blow & MB buff. Art of Defense (AoD) is their best friend even though they can't move but since their range so it's not a problem.
They use mostly Cannons or/and Lances, but honestly it's kinda boring since you'll be throwing cannons/lances all the time. In terms of PvE, their also good.
You might wonder why i didn't include the Hybrid build. That is because it's not a good build. Which most players say and really mean it. You would rather focus on one build, whether it's sword or magic.
Skills ( It is really a must to go Dual Transcender )
Sword Skills
- -Shield Splinter Lv.9 or 12/15 (9 for the best cool-down or 12/15 increase in Amp. and Attack with cool-down slightly increased)
- -Shield Break Lv.9 (best damage skill)
- -Shield Explosion Lv.18 (360 degrees knockdown)
- -Shield Ray Lv.20 (the furthest ranged sword skill)
- -Storm Crush Lv.20 (this isn't really good because it has a very long cast time, but you can use it before you can get better skills like the first 2 above)
- -Guillotine lvl15 (frontal knockdown)
- -Shield Charge lvl15(this is a moving/attack skill, warps you 4 spaces up to hit the enemy)
- -Earth Divide lvl15 (similar to Guillotine, but with further range and smaller radius)
- -Dash lvl9
- -Fadestep Lv.9
- -Force Kick Lv.9
- -Impact Stab Lv.8/20 (for DPS)

Items
(Basically you have to focus on
Critical Dmage increase and
Amp.)

- - Amulet of Pain (buy the ones you can wear and afford since nowadays a +3/4 are quite expensive)
- +6/7 Osmium Amor/Battle helm of Deathblow[2] full crit damge inc...
- +6/7 Osmium Armor/Battle of will [2] with amp in one slot and +hp in the other
- +6/7 Osmium Armor/Battle Gloves of Amp or Destruction[2] with amp and +attack
- +6/7 Osmium Armor/Battle Boots of will[2] with amp in one slot and +hp in the other
- +6/7 Osmium Blade or Katana - if you have 2 slot put Critical Dmage Increase, there are times that there is a crit rate inc in the first slot so put Critical Dmage increase in the other..
- +6/7 Lapiz or Topaz crystal/orb or mithril - it may be crit damge inc or amp... :P
- +6 or higher EoF (PvP) & EoG (PvE) meaning you have to have two epaulets
Go for Mithril later on with the same attributes.
Skill Grinding tips
Since the Lord of War patch has been implemented the Change Force Upgrade skill has been removed but the good thing is that you can now gain for both sword and magic from using either sword or magic skill.
To skill grind faster to COMBOS.
Get 3 novice sword skills (Flash Draw, Force Stab and Impact Stab), make them Lv.9 to make it easier to combo with. This will help you gain sword skill points faster probably 5 minutes for 1 skill point if you got premium if not might take 10 minutes or so. You can also use magic novice skills if you want.
sFS Combos
PvE
Round Cut if you're low on HP and need to leech some - it'll still work with the stun combo and you'll still only get hit once. Otherwise, go straight to Shield Break. Combo works up to 18 SS, 15 BoJ.
Stun Lock
- BoJ -> SS -> SR -> SB
- BoJ - Excellent
- Shield Splinter - Excellent
- Shield Ray - Good, past 2nd bar.
- SB - Excellent.
You need half the distance between the 2nd line and the end of the combo bar at Shield Ray for this combo to work. At 6-11 combo, you will only need 1/4th, and at 11+, you don't need to change anything, it's auto stun-lock 90% of the time.
Boss
- SS 9 -> SB -> SS 9 -> SE 20
- SS 18 -> SB -> SE 19
- SS 15 -> SB -> SS 15 -> SE 20 -> SR 20
- SS 15 -> SB -> SS 15 -> SE 20 -> [SB -> SS 15 -> SE 20]
PvP
- SS 9 -> SB -> SS 9 -> SE 20

Add Impact Stab/Force Stab/Soaring Shot/Shield Ray/Shield Charge/Force Kick anywhere you like if you need to weaken the other player a bit to finish him with your next GM/Completer. Storm Crush 20 is also a good finisher. As for which combo is the best, that's up to you. The level of SS pretty much changes your entire combo. I used to use SS 18, but now I use SS 15 for versatility.
mFS Combos
Mostly you have to use either Cannons or lances.. or even both..
Fire Cannon>Terra lance ->Earth/Rock Cannon ->Crystal Cannon>Fire lance>Lightning Cannon
This is commonly known as a DPS type combo.
Very Effective... Use Mortal Bane when you use this.. It will maximize the damage you deal to your opponents..
Killing them fast and makes it hard for them to get close to you since Cannons has (knock-back) and lances got (down).
You should also utilize Art of Defense properly..
Use AoD when your hp is likely at 20-30%... Using AoD at the beginning is not good, your opponent can tell if you casted AoD and they can dash/Fade away to get out of your range... So use it when their close to you.
