Maybe imho, but shouldnt u state your attack without the FA buff? Gives a more 'flat' compersation then with buffs.

I could added a fantasy rate/dmg "improved" number if i had alot of free RED extenders ;P , but i choose not to , Often PvP in AoB so can remove 5% dmg from my pain, but i manage to maintain 2669hp. Oh well there you have it! ty

What makes you think clust3r is the best on mercury?
I dont even see him in any of the fastest dungeon lists (unlike I3eI3op, HueG, Pendragon). Most high-dmg dealers get in there without even trying. The question is what are you looking for? Best as in highest dmg overall or best as in for pvp. From what I've seen clust3r is quite active in pvp. I even tried duelling him a few times as I was interested in seeing his dmg...he didnt win
Just to make it clear I dont want to offend clust3r or anything so dont get me wrong

For the comparison less magic, more rate, less amp (like 1% or 6% depending on the gear) and like 1% less crit-dmg compared to your Improved Gear.
In a way similar to Gatzuaa with less magic, same rate, more amp and more crit-dmg

I see... dunno how things are on Jup, but on mercury it's quite easy to get at least a deathblow helm. Or another possibility is that Ahura does not increase his rate further on purpose. Is there some accurate information on the critical rate limit? (this question has been haunting me for so long...)

Finally i take the time to answer you now.
First you need to know i play cabal for fun, i switch to magic build first time for fun. A bet between me and a mate from my guild. Finally after some test the joke be a good deal for me.

Don't forget some thing important for me. The difference between STR => DEX was
- - Defense
- + Def rate
- - Attack (logic i know )
- + difficulties for pve
- + power in pvp
- and some other points

For me for resume, my build gime me a good vibe for my pleasure of the game. I'm not the best, i think i never can rivalise with MrThink or other WA, and other WI. But with this char i'm in the top, not the best but i'm here xD

With a good dex, your G.master make correct damage, i have the pleasure to try a BL 150, a FB 140 and a FA 140+ and after all, i keep my "MANA" FS !

Yah with fantasy items, sky is the limit but more then likely we won’t ever get it. I was very realistic with my improved gear; thank you for doing the same. (My improved set just needs better BoS and more Slot extender Medium and +4 Mithril Orb etc and that is with +6 Katana)

I don't get it. I thought that creating your own buld (items, upgrades and using the own created combos) make a good player.

You said your opinion and I will tell you mine; Defense means nothing. That is why 99% of all players go for Titanium/ShadowTitanium/Osmium and they dont wear Mithril Armor set.

Pendragon, the best magic FS as in the player that dose the most DMG. I can calculate the DPS for each player and make a Ranking list but to do that for everyone I need the Magic, Crit Rate, Crit DMG and Amp.

Ahhhh Ahura if only that would be so easy It really isnt that black and white. The one thing that most people fail to consider while looking at DPS is the monster def. This effects all FS differently from build to build...for example high defense monsters (lets say berderk) obviously favor Builds with high magic...whereas lower def monsters favor high crit-dmg builds. Thats why I dont just have "a set" or "a combo"...e.g. in the berderk case I prefer to use (and that maximizes my dps in that case) a redosmium amp blade and a mithril orb whereas I normally use a Lapis Orb and an Osmium Katana. As in most cases knowlege of the situation prevails

Attack Formula:
(Magic x Amp)+ Skill DMG = Total DMG.

The problem:

1. That formula only works accurately when you pass the Defense of the mobs by X number of Magic or Attack. (this explains the problem with LS boss)
2. The X is always different from one mob to another, since their defense is not the same.

Solution:
Keep all the test conditions the same. (IE: presume that everyone can do the maximum DMG on a mob with really low Defense and calculate their DPS from the Attack formula by using the same Skill)

Example:
(791 x 2.25) +128.30 = 1908.05 Normal Hit
1908.05 x 1.81 = 3453.57 Critical Hit
[(1908.05 x 57) + (3453.57 x 43)] / 100 = 2572.62 The Average DMG
2572.62 / 2 = 1286.31 The Average DPS for My character with Stone Cannon Lv20


(816 x 2.29) + 128.30 = 1996.94
1996.94 x 1.81 = 3614.46
[(1996.94 x 49) + (3614.46x 51)] / 100 = 2821.90 The Average DMG
2821.90 / 2 = 1410.95 The Average DPS for Gatzuaa with Stone Cannon Lv20


So based on that Gatzuaa has higher DPS. That was already clear before hand but with different builds that concentrate more on Crit DMG or Magic etc; This method will give a clear compression as to what is better for purely doing the most DPS.

I can calculate this for every one (I wont do it but it can be done). I just want to see different builds that is all but if we were to determine who is best then, it would be the person that dose the most DPS.



Other Information:

1. Since this thread is about Best Magic FS then sword skill can be ignored.
2. This all comes down to mathematics and different combinations of Amp, Rate, DMG and Magic.
