Well, time to make more suggestions.
All suggestions posted will be added to this main thread.

UI

• To be able to have the Overwolf Menu on the top of the screen.
  
  Its only possible to have the menu to open horizontally.
  It would be good if it could be able to drop down from the top of the screen.
• Remove the settings button and put it inside the "more widget menu"
• Being able to add more widgets to the menu.
• To be able to duplicate the Overwolf "ball" and customize if wanted.

Widgets

• Add Tumblr to widgetlist.
• Add Cabal Forums to widgetlist.
• Being able to add own widgets as bookmarks in the web browser.
• Being able to create tabs and name them for storage of widgets.

Would be wonderful if people posted their suggestions here!

I am Asaf, Overwolf's Community Manager.

First of all, thank you for making such thread in our little forum! I am sure it's going to be a very active one.
Moreover, I would like to thank you about taking the time to think about such suggestions. Let me explain from A to Z what we are thinking about these suggestions:

1) Well, let’s keep it simple: We definitely thinking about making an option to place Overwolf Dock in the top of the screen. You can already change its position from right to left but the top side is still on our table.

2) Its the first time we hear such suggestion, so I added this one to our suggestions list. But, I would like to ask why would you like to place the settings icon inside our dock? The little one isn't more comfortable now?

3) That's an interesting one. How many more widgets would you like to add?

4) The "Ball" you mentioned is our Dock!
About this one, we already have suggestions of users that want to be able to customize the dock. But why do you want to be able to duplicate it?

5) a suggestion for "Tumblr" Widget added to our lists too (like every single one of your suggestions )

6) Sure thing! This one added too, hopefully to add Cabal Forums really soon.

7+8) Great ideas, sure to be added in the future.

Quality of video is much more important than the widgets

if u change widgets u make a toy
if u change the quality of resolution then u make a software for players.

On #4 - the thing that comes to mind is a "preset" gaming/networking Dock, where you save the configuration to a gaming profile and load up the one that you want depending on what you're doing, correct?

Well, if you go to Overwolf Settings, and choose "Full Size" or "Half Size", it will capture the whole screen. If you choose the "Full Size" while your game resolution is 1920X1080, it will capture the whole thing. But if you choose "Half Size", it will capture in 960X540.

2) Well, of course. But even if we would like to add more widgets outside the dock, this little icon wont interrupt it. But i see your point and I will back to you when I have updates.

No problems. We have few suggetions for this one too and I hope to give more updates about it when I'll have somthing

Don't get me wrong. I really want to use overwolf instead xfire just bcoz of YOUTUBE feature. Overwolf is great but even if i capture in FULL SIZE resolution is still not good

Understandable. We are working full steam ahead in order to improve the quality of our recorded videos and screenshots.

Hi! How are you?
Well, yes, definitely. We already improved our chat in the latest version (published yesterday!) and we are working on the sound aspect. More updates to be revealed soon!

Show to friends in messenger "Playing Cabal online" only works when I have the program open and later I start Cabal.
It doesnt work when I have Cabal open and later I open messenger in Nevareth Outpost. ( at least in my computer)
(The same message but with "(Using Overworlf)" works perfectly).

So just to make we're on the same page here:
You can customize the buttons on the dock by a simple Drag 'n Drop (simply drag the MSN button to where you want it). Just make sure to try this when Overwolf runs on the desktop (this is not yet supported in-game).

Hey 8Domcik8, I'm glad to hear you like our looks - thanks!

Hiding the timer in the video is actually quite a "real" suggestion...
So I understand you find it annoying, and probably wish to have the most minimal recording indication possible - right?
(let's say a little red circle at the corner of the screen or something like it?)

First of all, I would like to say that I understand why you need something like that timer in video, it's made too make it possible for watchers to indicate what program was used for filming, so I suggest easy and pretty solution, put your logo, BUT give us option to choose it's position (for example in cabal we don't like it in left corner for the reason that it covers our char stats) and don't make it too large ))

You can already determine the position of the timer - hover above the timer with the mouse to reveal the video widget, and then drag the video widget to position it wherever you want (anywhere at the top edge of the screen).

+1 Idea. Give option to put Overwolf logo, not timer. Its much better like domick says. And example for cabal online left side down corner would be cool place ;P
