    Default Game crash after 579 update (tried manual and auto)

    Hello,

    Today I realized after auto updating (579) the game has been crashed with the following details:

    (sorry for the language, my windows is Hungarian)

    Problem details:

    After it I tried reinstall the game and manual installation accordingly to the help in the forum but the problem still happened.

    Every other necessary programs are up-to-date directx, etc.
    Yesterday was everything fine, and I did not install new stuff so I do not understand.

    You had reinstalled the game properly following my guides and it's still causing this error out of nowhere right?

    Then I would be out of ideas, of what the cause is as you didn't install anything new lately. And I don't think that an updated antivirus program would invoke stackhash errors... nor does virus/malware etc... I think ;p...

    You can probably bypass this error by turning off DEP on cabalmain.exe, but that's not exactly "fixing"... so I'd recommend you to submit a ticket towards the "Technical Support" department at http://support.cabalonline.com/ and have a GM help you further.

    Yes, I did it exactly same, several times. I tried to use older updates and after changed the update id2 file, but the updater still works and downloaded the newest update but I owerrited the file so it was dead idea.

    (I have no good experiences about sending tickets because I sent Monday about account problem but still have not got any reply/feedback. I do not remember my secret question and requested to reset it (accordingly to the forum guide) because I want to buy CC...)


    Maybe windows reinstalling can solve the problem, but very saidfull the updates makes such a mistakes like this... I am sure, I did everything same as according to your explanations and there was no any changing (also windows updating did not happened) in my pc.

    It's always crowded at account support, so it can take pretty long for a ticket to be answered there if you don't make a sure-fire ticket with all information required for a secret question reset:

    To reset your Secret Question(s) & Answer(s) you need to visit: http//support.cabalonline.com/ to submit a support ticket to the ACCOUNT SUPPORT department.

    (Please note that sending tickets to the wrong department will increase the time taken before you get a response).

    For us to swiftly reset your Secret Questions you will need to provide the following information (so that we know you are who you say you are!):

    Website Username
    Full Name (the full name you put on the account when you registered it)
    E-Mail address (the one on the CABAL account)
    Address (again, the one put on the account at registration)
    Postcode (of the above address)
    Date of Birth (entered at registration)
    Number of Game Accounts you have
    As many character names as you can remember (from each Game Account)



    Once the above information has been provided (and has been verified as CORRECT), we can move on to changing the Secret Question(s) & Answer(s) that are on the account.

    In order for us to do this, we need you to select 2 new Secret Questions & Answers (ONE from EACH list of questions):

    PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY SPECIAL SYMBOLS IN SECRET ANSWERS. BASIC LATIN AND NUMERICS ONLY.
    Well, if you had did it perfectly like asked in there, then it would make the GM's life much easier.

    The GM can just confirm the details and (I don't see why there's a step of confirming the details first and then ask you for the new secret questions... people might as well add them beforehand... but yeah I didn't make the guide...) change the secret question/answer for you and reply you with it.

    it might take several exchanges of replies, which can make it take ages. But yeah, you still need be on top of the queue first ^__^;;;...

    Anyway, the Technical Support department is much less busier than at Account Support, so it shouldn't take that long.

    As I said, I have sent tickets according to the aboves for the account team and and now for the tech. support, too.
    I prefer to read before crying, but thanks for the infos. =)

    I think I can solve the problem by myself before to get answer from the support team.
