Passwords

We highly recommend that you change your passwords and sub-passwords regularly. Did you know you can quickly and easily change any password yourself? As long as you know the security questions and answers you set when you created the account doing a password change is really very simple.

What makes a good password? A good password has a combination of numbers, letters, and special symbols. Avoid using 'obvious' passwords such as 123456, or having your game account ID and password be the same word, so if your game account is GameAccount1 don't have the password be GameAccount1 as well. Another good idea is not use the same password across various games and services you may subscribe to.

If you want to change your passwords, and again this is incredibly quick and simple to do, the following two guides will help you:


Reset your website password

You can reset your website password by following the instructions below.

1. Visit https://www.cabalonline.com/account
2. Click the 'Forgot Password' button
3. Enter your website username
4. Enter the email address which you are currently using on the website
5. Enter the new password you would like to use
6. Confirm the new password by entering it again
7. Select one of your secret questions from the list and enter the correct answer
8. Click the submit button
9. Once the password has been changed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Reset your game password

1. Login to your website account by visiting https://www.cabalonline.com/account
2. Once you have logged into your account, click 'Reset' for the relevant game account in the Password column
3. Enter the new password you would like to use
4. Select one of your secret questions and provide the answer
5. Click the Submit button
6. Once the password has been reset, you will receive a confirmation email.

Of course, if you have forgotten your security questions and answers for whatever reason you will have to visit our Support Department and specifically Account Support, in order to have the security question and answer changed. The following guide will show you what to do in this case:


Reset security question and answer

(NOTE: ALL INFORMATION MUST BE SUPPLIED TO VERIFY ACCOUNT OWNERSHIP! We request this information because you would have filled it in when you created your account, and it can never be changed by anyone.)

Submit this, with all information supplied, to Account Support with the subject "Request Security Question and Answer reset":

• Website Username (website login name)
• Email address used on the account
• Full name (forename and surname - minimum 2 words)
• Date of birth (dd/mm/yy)
• How many game accounts you have (not character names)
• What are the characters you have on your game accounts (names and levels)

NOTE THERE ARE 2 SECRET QUESTIONS AND 2 CORRESPONDING ANSWERS.

Select one of these questions, for your First security question and then provide the answer below.

• Best childhood friend
• Name of first pet
• Favourite Teacher
• Favourite historical person
• Favourite movie
• Anniversary [dd/mm/yyyy]

Answer:
(Please do not use special characters in an answer)

Select one of these questions, for your Second security question and then provide the answer below.

• Father's middle name
• Spouse's middle name
• First child's middle name
• Grandfather's occupation
• Mother's birthplace
• Mother's maiden name
