How i fixed installation problem, and easy installed new Client from 0

Hi all

I saw here lot of people like me having problem to install or simply update cabal client.
I tryied some way reading here on forum, like paste files, husky skip mode etc.

Some people successfully fixed it, some other no.

Well i tryied this way on 2 different PCs and it worked. If u can't install, try this way too and report here if they work.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I think it 'll work with all Vista/7 OS, but u can try on XP too.

First of all, unistall all Cabal Online client/patch/update you have on system.
Go in C>Program Files and delete Game-Masters folder.
Download and use CCleaner to perform a System Cleaning, and Registry Fix after unistall all about cabal. Is easy to use, if u don't know how to use ask here, or check on google, u'll easy find lot of guide.

Start:

1) Download client from site (Saint's Requieme, i got English version)

2) RightClick on client and click on "Run as administrator" and install it (i installed it without OverWolf)

3) After installation done DO NOT LAUNCH THE CLIENT!!!

4) Download this 2 files: global.enc and market.enc

5) Copy and paste both files downloaded in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Games-Masters.com\CABAL Online (Europe)\Data
When system request to replace, click yes for both
P.S.: Your folder can be a bit different

6) Now go in the main folder of cabal:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Games-Masters.com\CABAL Online (Europe)

7) Right click on application "cabalmain.exe" and click "Run as an administrator".

Well, if it work for you like me, cabal launcher will start without any problem, and make lastes update.
As i said, it worked for me 2 times, on different PCs, but don't mean it is the right way to temporaney fix the problem, waiting new 590 client as Viral said in other thread.

Wish it was as easy as only following first 2 steps.. I thought the same, until I had the same problem after that emergancy maintenance of last monday.

Thing is, on some computers, cabal just refuses to update properly. I had tried everything, and only solution for me was copying a working and updated install from my laptop.

Well, I don't know how technically gifted each community member is, however I can tell you that I've installed Cabal on at least 30 - 50 PCs, varying from OS to hardware, and have NEVER encountered any issues whatsoever. Maybe I somehow manage to avoid errors without thinking it, due to all these years of tech support, but I highly doubt it.

There was usually something wrong with the PCs before I even started installing the game, and only after fixing those errors, I tried installing Cabal and then it installed properly with steps 1 and 2.

Step 2,3,6 and 7 are not needed. My cousin also had problems with the global.enc and market.enc files, but really, just copy them from a working client, or download them from the provided links up here. Replace the corrupt files with the working files and you're done. No need to 'run as administrator', to wait with launching the client or use CCleaner.

Non è che hai sbagliato a mettere i link e sono gli stessi files ?

EDIT: ho fatto come dici (scaricando da un altro thread global.enc e market.enc) e il client sembra funzionare.. sembra anche aver aggiornato alla ultima versione pero poi quando sta per partire si blocca e compare questa finestra "l'aggiornamento sarebbe piu grande dell'intero client. Scaricare il client completo?"

sia se clicco "si" o "no" la finestra si chiude e non succede niente

Ho corretto i due file, comunque almeno momentaneamente, prova a scaricare Cabal in Inglese e vedi se ti funziona così

FOR ALL: Sorry for italian, but maybe he don't know eng. Btw about all first posts, not all system work at same mode, for example for me only first 2 steps doesn't work. Yes, maybe there are any step over needed, but they aren't a time lost, like ccleaner need to be runned some time on system, or start as administrator can be a good way for people still have UAC activated.

PS: dal sito ufficiale pero ho scaricato il client da "Gamona" me lo ha suggerito un amico e scaricando quello è partito ^^

Grande! Se becchi altri con lo stesso problema aiutali, ma tu sei riuscito a installare quello italiano quindi??
