strange starting problem

Hi

before explaining the problem, I'd like to make clear that cabal worked perfectly for months, until yesterday.
Yesterday I started my cabal.exe, launcher opens with no problems, I pressed start game and nothing showed up, no gameguard, nothing. I tought it was a server problem so I just ignored it, but today it's happening again!
All antivirus/firewall have both cabal.exe and cabalmain.exe into the exceptions, and as I said it worked just fine for years, have no clue on what is this problem / how to solve it.

Do you see cabalmain.exe and gamemon.des hanging in your processes by any chance after clicking start cabal on the launcher, if you are on a 64-bit OS.

nope, the launcher is shown in the process but after the start cabal nothing pops up in the process

Did you install/update/change any program the last few days?

Do you see cabalmain.exe in your Cabal folder? There were some cases lately were it was deleted somehow by the antivirus program even though it's in the exception list.

I just reinstalled cabal the last day to see if it would help solve the problem, and now that you pointed it, no there's no more the cabalmain.exe, should I reinstall to solve this or are there other way to get it back?

Well, since it was removed, I'd assume your antivirus program had deleted it.

fak you CCleaner it's the source of this problem i bet.... cabal stop working each time i use it

How about you try to explain it more elaborately? How did you link the relation of the two? Besides, Kadaj is only missing his cabalmain.exe file... that's surely not the fault of any of CCleaner's function, unless you manually delete it ^__^;;;...
