BM2 Question

Hi, not sure if this was answered already, I did a quick search but I didn't get an information.

When using BM2, are the effects of the cannons still effective?

Meaning, do I still need to get the cannons to get the best out of BM2?

Please forgive me for a ****** question, I have played since 2 years ago...

Cannons never influenced bm2 afaik.
Anyway not that you gonna use bm2 much now that we have bm3.

I believe he's talking about the old BM2 when you had to use a few sword skills to charge the gauntlet and then a cannon to release it.
