1 slot drop bonus vs 2 slot drop bonus -- harder question

For those in the know...

Does an item seem to need to pass having 1 slot before it has 2 slots or are the two features independent?

IE which configuration would yield the most 2 slot items of these:

+400% 1 slot +3800% 2 slot OR
+160% 1 slot +4600% 2 slot?

If 2 slot items have to pass a 1 slot check then a 2 slot check I would figure the former. If only a 2 slot check then obviously the latter.

What prompted this is I have an item that is miraculous 2H that is slotted miraculous 1H that is shadowsteel that I can easily extend but it is hardly worth it if 1 slot does not affect 2 slot drops at all (in that case I might as well use my pure mirac 2 slot drop forc item so as not to take more damage while looting a chest.

Yes I have been doing a lot of random slotting of low items to try to get miraculous 2H slotted miraculous 2H that would at the most extend with a SEM to get the doubled bonus.

You are about 3 years late with that question....

I know how it used to be, before they implemented all those drastic changes that caused an abondance of the crafted drops.
It still uses the same principles, but all the values have been changed. As a result, I cant give any precise info, because all the info i had was based upon EP2...

but here is how it was in the past :
all parameters are set in different sub-tables, so an item drops as a basic item :+0, no enchants, no craft parameter, no slots
but it has a references in its droptable to a main subtable.
This main subtable determines the combionation types possible: fe you can have slotted + items, but that cant have craft parameters...etc...all sorts of combinations are made possible and assigned to an ID.
If an item has a certain ID, then it will only search those subtables to add parameters.

You got subtables for :
enchants
craft parameters
grade (+)
slots

If we now focus on the slots, then in the old days, there was something strange going on :
if 2slotted was set to droprate B then the 1slotted was set to A+B....
I always found that strange, maybe it was conincidence, but i doubt it.
to me, that indicated that 1slotdrop does serve as some sort of pass-through gate for 2slotted.

It is my experience that you need to properly balance your 1slot with 2lot.
Due to its double stepped system, it is hard to predict what will result in more 2slotted drops (due to its low droprate)
you either have a higher start chance on getting slotted, with a smaller chance on getting 2slotted
or
You have a more reduced chance on getting a slotted, but when it is a slotted, you'll have a higher chance on it being a 2slotted item...
To set any live testing would be near impossible to do, due to the low droprates of 2slotted and 1slotted. We used to try that approach, but with each new release we discovered changes, so we were forced to abandon...

Everything has been deleted as an protesting-answer to the repeated topic deleting of the forum admins, because we brought up other issues they didnt want to hear or didn't want other people to know....
So about 1 to 1.5 years ago, both RatzaTM and me deleted all our info on dropsets and any useful content we created...In my case it was around 1800 posts...(took me a few days)
Admins may then have the absolute power to delete topics they do not like, we , as end users, determine the usefulness and content of the forum...
Because they didnt want to hear any citical sound, we decided to no longer contribute to the usefulness of the forum and consequently deleted our knowledge participation...
