100HP vs. 20 max hp steal in boots

As title said which one you prefer in boots 100hp or 20 max hp steal. I think 20 max hp steal maybe better for non bm sittuations/lots of mobs around you but in boss fights when you use bm3 synergys you loose hp and def (all synergys att same time = -700hp -50def) so extra hp might come handy.

It all depends on the situation, in place A, 20 max hp steal more would let you be capable of keeping a good sustain for a longer period of time, in place B, those 100 hp more could be the gap between life and death.

It's up to you to decide which you prefer, I'd take 20 max hp steal since overall they seem to be more efficient in pve, I myself use 7 amp 40 max hp steal boots but I play FA. If you pvp or join TGs a lot, those 100 hp would be more useful since max hp steal there is useless.

Yeah, but I believe in his case, the dilemma is most likely to be in the choice of which Osm-Sig boots to buy, otherwise he's right away consider extending.

Max hp steal does work in tg , just not in pvp.

yes, but considering the pcm prices, he has the chance to upgrade st boots high enough to compensate for lower basic def.
and then he just has to choose between boots with bit higher def or st boots + xx with 40 hp steal limit up.
the st boots might be bit expensive, but not a waste investment.

I'd chose 100hp because even with pro hp steal etc you will be nothing w/o nice HP for example bosses from MO can hit my wii even 5,5k and always 50-100hp left =)

Im curretly using full mystic +10 with 1 drosnin so my def is about 790 (lvl 160), so i have mystic +10 7 amp boots with 2 slots empty and dunno what should I choose for wi.... so 3800+20 hp steal or 3900hp

You don't have to worry about MO at that level so I would grab HP steal.

well dunno but u didn't even check it -.-... for example try to do PVP achiv "Win PVP while your HP is below 5%" and u'll see =)

As always, the golden rule : As long as you do not get 1-hitted, HP steal > HP.

That's why the priority should be to not get hit (so Def Rate) then if def rate failed, you need to reduce the damage (Defense), then after damage reduction you need a large health pool to sustain the remaining hit (so HP) and last but not least, means to regenerate your HP back to 100% (HP steal and potions and FA heal).

Assuming conditions from 1,2 and 3 have been met (you got hit, defense reduced damage, your HP could withstand the hit) then you need HP steal to regain full Hp quickly.

PS: You do not steal that quickly in BM3, but you got more defense, so either go for insane HP steal (200 - 250) or pump up that damage / defense. That's because %HP steal x damage = +HP steal.
