    Default FS and the EOG

Hey everyone, another thread from your old friend Claus.

I was wondering as in the last few months I started seeing more and more FS with full mithrill 3 amp and eog+8 around BI. I know eog+8 goes well with FS as they are full defense but why do many people argue that eof+6 is better as it gives attack + amp and cuts off the defense... I spoke with 1 FS that has eog+8 and full mith and he says that with his 1200 defense he can survive in any dungeons and also does good dmg due to the high cd of his class but yet you see so many players with shadow tit fs doing just as well.... can anyone explain why would someone make the choice of having eog+8 and mith 3 amp on an FS ?

    Cabal rule #1: DMG>def
1200 def is nothing compared to a stit 7amped fs with 36dmg weaps.
A fs with stit +11 7 amp and redosm 36 dmg weaps +bof etc will probably win a pvp against mith 3amp +8 (most noobs with 3amp mith cant get higher then +8) and eog with mith 20dmg weaps

Believe it or not the person that pvp'ed this guy I know that has mith and eog and bike RW has actually lost.. so even though the shadow tit +10 set guy with 7 amp and 36% cd visor had better stats, his defense let him down that time. I don't know what weapons he had but definitely not 36% cd blade / crystal oh and forgot to mention the shadow tit guy had lvl 145 and the mith one had 142

Note the most important part in the sentence where you talk about your friend: "he says"

I'm not gonna deny it is easier to survive with higher defense. But "easier" does not mean "necessary". Almost everyone can survive in dungeons like IC/RH/AOS with shadowtitanium. In a party it is even that much easier, because you have ss for one, and the boss does not focus entirely on you. In high level dungeons such as FT2/MO, only the damage matters because that extra 200 defense does nothing against a 3k hit from Leth.

Your friend says he does good damage, but he really doesn't. He doesn't know what good damage is.

I posted the same post before regarding Def vs. damage. I had the same concept to use mith against s.tita. i think what they're pointing at is it's easy to acquire low cost mith than to +11 a s. tita. Especially when you're just starting and have less alz. But I saw the light. hehe!

When I summoned the third form of Askorka, I lost all my doubts about 'high def'.
My 3.2k def was nothing for him (one hit for 3k+ hp over this def). I had stit set and sigmetall (4-5% amp) one for such situations. I spent a half of hour to kill him by relogs by my 150 sFS (before BM3).

Wut's about TG, really (Korea) pvp or war spots? It is given easy to kill mith-nub FS even by naked wizard, believe me, I am pro at PK and really PVP. And I've done it not once already.

So f**k your mith-nubs. Play 'amplification', go Pro.

p.s. oh, sorry, but mith-nubs are a lot here, at CORU, too.

    kinda true.
most these days some people believed that high def will give them control to the game which is not really true. 7%amp>mith3%. in PVP yea H2H pvp is bout matter of how many times you crit its only about luck but in FREESTYLE pvp you will see the difference between high def vs high damage. in PVE high damage for high leeching HP.
