what to do against FB??

OK, in pvp against an FB that used mana freeze - or whatever they call that debuff - I have used this with some success. It's not 'sporting' but hell, I do not feel like fighting with no mana.

Use the flee rate buff. Make sure you have space behind you. Use fadestep, followed by force kick, start combo, Lightning Slash, Storm Grind - then combo as normal.

You need to be fast, but the combination of fadestep with force kick means your char is moving really fast, that 2 second stun is enough to get your combo started if he has not managed to retarget, so it is not that easy to re-target then, and again while casting LS you are moving at a rate which make targeting you not the easiest thing, and with luck SG knocks the opponent down, giving you some time continue with combo.

Yes, this depends on the opponent not being that good (but would a skilled player be using Mana Freeze in pvp?) and some luck is required, but it has worked for me.

Rofl, how can u call people the use mana drain noobs I mean the skills in the game for a reson did FB ask for it NO!.... look at bladers buffs I mean they even have a debuff ffs get used to it becouse nothings gonna change for now and tbh compair BL buffs with FB buffs... *coughs* thats what I thought,

Put it this way would u ever duel another class no buffs what so ever includding fb.. honestly would u becouse only decent buffing FB get to do is stacking ice lightning and fire blade ad that cnt be done untill 150 - 160 so...
Hey atm does fbs buffs realy make a diffrence between winning and losing... no its realy down to gear even befor the update I saw a few fb with actuall gd gear and he pwned... BLs buffs makes a big diffrence in pvp compair to an FBs buffs.

Thats the reson FB have debuffs right? But I dnt even think they realy need to use it anyway since the update ive felt a powerup in damage dno about anyone else but its realy down to gear... and not many FB I know of use mana drain but hey there are a few maybe the ones that cnt offord 6+ osm battle set so they have to stick with 3+ full osm set of nothing 1slot=) but hey thats the way it goes... Tbh mate if u used fade step id probbally do fade step then mana drain then combo and force assult u...since its 1st skill in my pvp combo.. not that simple mate who said the fb doesen't have fade step..

To be honest, I think you missed the point of my post. In a pvp where the FB uses that mana drain on me I will simply use a return stone - it's is a pointless exercise otherwise. Most of the FB does not use it in PvP, since it is rather boring, and they will very quickly run out of opponents willing to fight them. I am well aware that the FB has fade step as well.

I tried to suggest a strategy that could, with some luck, see you avoid that skill. I doubt very much whether it will be successful with every go, but at least it gives you a chance.

There is a thread in bladers section that shows that bladers can do very high dmg with just normal attacks so:

before pvp buff yourself with +400 dmg and 25% amp
-start pvp use field of fear on him and the ammout of damage you will deal with normal attack should be high enough to win;

also before pvp dont forget to use the buff that give s 100% protection from stuns etc.(forgot its name) so you wont get knockeddown or stunned by his debuff

another option is to, at the beginning of pvp use fade and then bm2 while you still have mana and with the buffs you have a sure win with normal attack - imo if they use their OP buff then it gives us the right to use BM2 witch is not as powerfull as the FB debuff...

I didnt try these tactics yet im bored in my job and i jst made this up, however ill test it when ill get home - that might be the only way to win with mana sucking FB's

I think that for bladers it will be quite easy. Just right after the pvp starts, get yourself the flee rate buff and attack the fb with all u got. Then FB might use Mana Freeze, and do combos on you, then you start rolling and running, rolling and running etc. eventually he will miss his combo and the combo skill won't be cooled down so he will start normal attacking you, but since you have SH*TLOADS of flee rate % fb will miss. and you can figure out the rest.
I don't think I would want to use mana freeze that often on every pvp. Of course I would use one on noob players who are being a**h*les and calling u noob anyways

Two days ago i was party with some of radley guildmate in mutant forest there were 3 caps we fight against them i got always the mana freeze the wa got the binding skill and they attacked the Fa. One on one you can only running but if **vs ** you can see as your party getting killed. I can say its quite embittering. If i get a mana set +140 every item its enough to make one skill then wait to the cool time of the pots and i lose all craft bonus so i will be weak and still do nearly nothing maybe if i use battler amulet. The other option is to carry a Wi all the time with you...

In bm 2 i think normal attack needs some mana but it's maybe changed since i noticed this.
And i'm in doubt that you can use instant immunity in bm2 i will check these options afternoon.

hy i have a FA and when a FB cast execration on me i kinda "resisted" it... i mean he gave it to me (the icon appeared with the 20 second countdown)but in like in 2 seconds it dissapeared and i owned his *** !!!...without a combo and i dont have resist buffs just DEF RATE UP as i am double a.master

...might have been a bug...

P.S. and that guy came to me and started asking something in his language with lots of " ?????? !!!!!!!!! ????? !!!! "...so i think he was sad about his buff getting all off and s**t

Yesterday me and few friends of mine had some fun time pvp .

i had a lot of fights with FB`s , and i may FB`s skills are not that much of a nightmare .

when u start a pvp with a FB u can use ur immunity so he can root u , and if u are mana debuffed u have 0 mana . u still can run away till ur mana debuff ends .

When a FB root u as a blader you will resist his root with your Immunity , if he mana debuff you u run back he cant catch u if he is comboing , coz he wont be able to dash in a combo , and if he will dash to catch you he will brake his combo , and then you intuition buff 99% flee will be handy .
