    Default Problem with graphic processing!!!

    Hello guys.
    I have a very big problem. So when i start cabal everything works fine. But when i play in windows mode and i maximize the window everything goes down and graphic processing is very low.
    I have a Win7 OS 64 bit. Driver of graphic card. That's very strange why cabal works very bad bcuz i have a good pc : Intel Core i5 2.5 ghz, 6 gb ram, Nvidia GT520MX 1 GB.
    Edit: When i play in fulscreen Everything works fine until i press CTRL+ ESC and after i'm back to the game the graphic processing is very low.
    Please help me.

    That sounds like a driver issue in between switching from your laptop's Intel CPU's IGP (internal graphics processor) to the Nvidia GT 520MX. That's not something we can help you with here :P. Try poking Nvidia ^___^;;;

    It might not occur if you set Cabal to run on the Intel IGP instead of the the 520MX though.

    I think you can fix it if you switch Cabal resolution instead of maximizing it while in window-mode though. And switching the resolution to something else and turning it back might turn the low graphics processing issue back to normal. Just some ideas .

    OH yeah that's very interisting what i made 1 min ago. I change the resolution to 800x600 while i'm in windows mode and same probleme. Graphic processing is very low. So when i change the resolution appear that problem. I heard many ppl saying that windows 7 64 bit is a problem for online gaming. Waiting for reply

    I am probably gonna make myself look really dumb, but the main issue here is that you drop in FPS a lot, ye? I am curious, how much fps you lose? (You can check fps with ctrl plus T or U..can not remember well...)

    I drop from 30 fps at 10 fps and that's all in windows mode.

    It's not a 64-bit OS issue, it's simply a graphics unit switching issue that appears on laptop's that have a CPU with a IGP/APU and a separate ATI/Nvidia GPU from what I've seen so far.

    You can test this easy by opening your Nvidia control panel --> Manage 3D Settings --> Program settings and set Cabal.exe to "Integrated Graphics" and try to start Cabal again. You will see that there's no issue at all now...

    Anyway, I got no other special bypass method for this issue. I have it on my laptop as well .

    I prefer to let my laptop live a few more years, rather than killing it faster by running Cabal on it though... the max speed running fan and temperature of the GPU/CPU is not funny when running Cabal .
