PEOPLE its not a problem with our hardware or antyvirus or anything! i play Cabal 2 weeks ago when server was in USA and everything was OK but now i have the same problem than you all... when login to game just shut down... My guild members have the same problem like me or other random errors (corrupted files, dc in game after 10min, skill error etc.) but we all play 2 weeks ago without any problems!!! now almost all players have random errors with Cabal so is not our fault!!! i reinstal game 2 times and do anything that (GM)'s say to do and quess what... nothing the SAME PROBLEM APEARS!!! EST soft must fix CABAL in German because is buged like hell !!!
We definatley will look in it but it is also 100% wrong that almost all players has this problem.

I know sometime people believe when they are saying it affect everybody or almost everybody we will hurry up for a fix.
But exactly this isn't helpful at all because we can easier locate a problem by getting some specific infos like when it is happening to individual players, from which country they are playing, what kind of connections, what kind of hardware, did they used the correct download files, made they any changes like individual skins and so on.
This is much better as to say game doesn't work nobody can login and help us a lot more to find a solution faster.

As for Vertex, here is the short breakdown. If your skill files are bugged, then the client cannot display your skills. That is why with some of you you cannot see any completer skills, do completer skills break the combo because they are instantaniously and do bike/board combo's not work since they are also instantaniously due to the missing animation. Corrupted files, again a software problem. What seems to work great with this is to manually replace them with working files.
Of course, a complete reinstall should bring non-corrupt new files to your system. This is why most people advise you to reinstall the game. However, you can still get faulty files in this way, just like with normal updates. For example, if you download your client from GamersHell.com you will have a bugged client from the start with no working completer skills etc.
If you do get a correct client, then it starts the patching. If during the downloading of those patches, one or multiple of them get corrupt, then you have even more corrupt files in your client. So even with reinstalling things might go wrong.
What often seems to work the best is manual patching, which is explained in these threads:

Anyway, in the end most client bugs are simply corrupted files, which you can fix yourself. Of course, unless you expect ESTSoft to fix every internet connection in the world to have an impossible 0% data loss/corruption.
But there is also some good news for everyone who often has to deal with corrupted clients. I've heard some rumours that Game-Masters.com might upload a new, fully up to date client to their download sites one of these days. This should minimize the chance a lot of getting corrupt files on a reinstall.
