Default Regarding the Lags issue , Post your feed back please - No Spam/OffTopic.

First don't Spam/troll or offtopic just give feedback..

Lately we've been suffering from the lag problem whenever the clock hits XX:00 , and so far , the GM's are still looking into the issue , due to the lack of good feed back , so currently they're asking what kind of lags you suffer and what country you're from , because different countries , take different net routes ( data over the net take hops to reach from your router->destination->your router) , so GM's are not sure whether it's a common hop point point that causes the lag , or the server it self [only guessing here , after all my technical info are close to none xD].

time of the day, type of lag, any error codes, country you are from etc

So now I'll ask anyone suffering from this issue to kindly post the feedback in the following form
  • Time of the day : XX:XX (likely XX:00)
  • Type of lag : _ _ _ _ _ _ _. (Likely will be "Logging in latency - AH responding latency - Storage opening latency)
  • Country : _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (I guess this will be used to track the routes of data sent/received and see where the lag occurs , if there's any).
  • Any other notes.

So far that's what's been asked , but if you can take the extra mile and post the following it will really really help ,
When the time is XX:00 , from the Start menu-> open run-> type "Tracert www.cabalonline.com"
After the trackert is complete , please take a screenshot "press print screen button -> then open the paint program and Paste , you'll find it there"
Then upload the picture on imageshack.us or tinypic.com , then take the URL code and post it with your feed back. If many do this , it'll show the GM's where actually the problem lies really fast , thus helping to fix the problem .

Please , also take a tracert when the servers aren't lagging , to compare between both.

Thank you and remember that it won't take 1-2 minutes , less than that you spend waiting for the login at best cases :P

Note : When posting a tracert image , please include the time you took it at. And please do 1 when you're having lags , and another one when the you aren't , to compare the pings and see what's different.

Time of the day : Every full hour doesn't matter if tg or ca time.
Type of lag : Logging in latency - AH responding latency Storage opening latency, TG Join button appears like after 10 mins, combo breaks automatically after force kick, retrieving pet information won't work.
Country : Austria

* Type of lag : _ _ _ _ _ _ _. (Likely will be "Logging in latency - AH responding latency Storage opening latency) Exactly what you said, taking a long time to log in, AH saying I need to try again later, and Storage just not opening when I click it, until a few minutes after.
* Country : England.(I guess this will be used to track the routes of data sent/received and see where the lag occurs , if there's any).
* Any other notes. I dunno if my ISP will be of any help, but I'm with Virgin Media. xD

  • Time of Day Around 14:00pm for a couple of hours then again from 22:00pm for a few more hours GMT
  • Type of Lag. skill casting, Skill connecting to damage lag, Item pick up lag, Item move in own inventory lag, AH lag, Storage both open and move items lag, HP Pot lag,Quest handing in or pickign up Lag, literally every fking type of lag you can think off
  • England 1.3 miles to my exchange Virgin ISP 20 mb connection open
  • Only started to happen over the last few days during the afternoon 1 hour atleast before any CA/TG then 'goes' for a few hours then comes back around 10pm for a few more hours. Totally destroying what premium tiem i have left and also the item drop quests i have to do for nation selection.
I Clean all temp files etc everyday,defrag my comp everynight, Dont use this comp for anything but condition Zero and Cabal. system is a Virgin (So to speak) means no other kind of downloading so no virus's, spyware etc, no need to have any Anti-Virus software, Spyware checked even though theres no need for it. Router gets rebooted twice a day and during these lag periods there is only me using the router/connection.

Would do a "Tracert www.cabalonline.com" but following your instructions it wont do it on my Vista home edition.

- Time: Every full hour this take max 10 minutes so it starts for example 10:00 am till 10:10 am.Of course the lag is shorter after 22:00 pm when less people on server.but at day time its almost not possible to relog at full hours...
- I cannot connect to chanells the blue bar reaches max and "cannot connect to serveR" ( 10 minutes trying)
- Country (Poland)
btw how to check ping to the server?
which command to the line?

Try opening the "Run" from start window , then type CMD , when the CMD window opens , type tracert www.cabalonline.com .

for me i don't have dc's nor major lag ingame but still i do get problems usually at:

* Time of the day : XX:00 (almost every full hour)
* Type of lag : -----> Logging in latency - AH responding latency - Storage opening latency
* Country : England
* ISP: Virgin Media

I also made a screenshot of my tracert to cabal:



seems that the prblem is dogado.de

When did you do the tracert ? when the servers were lagging , if so , can you please post another tracert when the servers aren't lagging to compare the results with?

Why bother doing tracert and blaming dogado.de? not all routers reply to requests...it may be configured that way to block ICMP/UDP requests.
On the other hand there may be a fault with that router, but if it replies to a ping request its more likely to just be configured to block requests rather than faulty?

Personally i just think the servers are overloaded and need upgrading to handle the massive amount of users that play, and reconnect every few seconds when they are boss hunting

Type of lag :can`t log in, takes me 15 minutes and If I am logged in, can`t put things in AH, Inventory opens late,

I was doing quests all day long , and whenever the server lagged , I couldn't do the quest or take the warp cards/items when the quest is done , anyone else had the same issue ,or was it just me ?
At any case , SupportAdvisors and GA's, more feedback !
