Hello!
I downloaded Cabal and I want to play. I updated the game and when I want to play it and I click 'Start Cabal', the window with game appears. Unfortunatly after 5 seconds it disappears... Where is the problem? Please, help...

Sounds like you may have the same problems dozens others have had. You see, the previous update 405 did that to many people (including me). In that case, you may wish to look at the stickied thread at the top of the tech support forum. That client worked for me, and it worked with 406 update too.

i dont have enc problems i log in and when i choose character
the screen freezes and it throws me out what is wrong?

The usual. Download and install Zaraki's client and update it (perhaps fixing it). Look at his post above.

i have the same problem that my cabal close after i want start it i have download the fixed data and it doesnt work i have download zarakis client and they says that the file is corrupz pls help me

i have a similar problem ...
i had to reinstall Cabal due to some PC problems ...so i used the client i downloaded from the main site a few days ago ...i've installed it and then ran the update ...but since i already had the 404 , 405 and 406 zip updates downloaded on my HDD ...i canceled the autoupdate when it reached 404 and i updated manualy from there on ...checked the files ...everything was in order and hit the "start cabal" button ..........and 3-4 seconds later after the loading screen came up it crashed back to desktop without giving me any errors or messages.

so after this :

....it just crashed back to desktop with no explanations !

do u guys have any idea what the problem might be ?

The clients are ok , but the updating does not take place properly.

The easiest way to fix this is download my client from the link.

i downloaded your client and when i wanna start the setup it tells me that "the setup files are corrupted" ...take a look :



...and i tryed to reinstall the game and let it do it's own update ...without doing it manualy just to see if it works and it didn't ...same problem !!!

any ideas ???

First I want to thank GM Zaraki for the effort to solve our problems. I did download the installer you made after some days of downloading, reinstalling etc...and several countless ways to get back into the game. But with the patch 406 last 24.09.08 the client doesn´t work again!

I am usually a premium user but its a good thing I didnt purchase a new package when this problem came about otherwise i wouldn´t be this cool writing in this thread. I don´t mind finding ways of patching a game but why does GM Zaraki have to do it outside the official Cabal download site? Since this problem is not an isolated case, it should be addressed officially like making available an "official updated Cabal client" that we can all download. I understand about the copyright rules and stuff but then again, this appears to be a problem that ESTSoft itself should fix which i believe is a service that we players of this game deserve.

i honestly don't care who does it as long as it gets done !
for now i have a problem i cant solve ...i reinstalled the game and updated it and now i get an error saying that the cabal.enc file is corrupt ...and i tryed overwriting it with other versions of the file i could find on this forum and it still doesnt work and i still get the same error ...form what i understand i need to get Zaraki's client to fix all my problems ...so i got that client form one of the links Zaraki posted and it told me that the instalation files are corrupted ...and so i tryed the second link ....the only thing is that the sites where he uploaded the client have a download limit ...and as i was downloading it my computer crashed and the download terminated at about 90% ...and when i tryed to download the client again the site told me i have reached my download limit ....so now i'm stuck !!! ...cause it wont let me download from any of those links !!!!!
